Greetings, good sirs and ladies of Gobiath and it's many regions.

I am Slazf Kruvkva; a reptillian (lizardman) forester who takes residence in the woods north and west of Greenbriar, the very hospitable halfling settlement. I am known now as a mercenary and forest guide for hire into trading caravans heading North, but I originally hail from the coasts east of Albar, and have travelled since to the island of Gobiath, where I became a citizen of Trollsbane and have recently joined the guard force. In past times, I have revered Zelphia as my diety; but now I follow no god -however much it outrages my kin- in my search for destiny. Over the decades, my lack of companionship has brought me to constantly contemplate, denying the self-righteous nature that often accompanies my kind, and embracing diversity as much as is possible. A half-score years ago, I discovered an urge deep within me to pursue the study of wizardly magics, an urge I can no longer escape, as I have been trying to do so for years now. I am drawn to the chaotic yet lawful nature that is present in magic, allured by it's mysteries; mysteries that hold so much one can learn. The step I go through now is that of seeking a mentor in the arts of spellcasting, one to guide me into aquiring the ability to bask in it's beauty. I would be forever indebted to any man or woman who steps up to assist me in my path.

Ahh, such a pleasure it is to hear from another of my kin who shows intrest in the arts believed to be blasphemy among our people. Forgive me, for I have adopted an accent similar to the humans, and it lacks the typical hiss.
Shall we organize a meeting point, or must our gathering be kept clandestine?
