Strange PvP

I got into a freakishly weird PvP fight with a mage today and in the mass chaos of 4 red skeletons I got hit by a purple flame... I know the lich uses that spell sometimes but I didn't think mages could.... and I might be mistaken but I could have sworn the mage hit me with it. So mages can use that spell now?

Well I could be mistaken.... there were 4 red skeletons ...one of them could have been a lich...

No normally Mages can't spell the purpel Flame, it doesn't matter anyways as those are randomly choosen animations as far as I know..

Red Mages can cast the purple flame.

I assume you were down in the skeleton forest?

And the animations arn't chosen randomly.

The mage was I and I only casted a fireball at you As you then attacked me the lich happened to come around the corner, badluck, sorry.

There seems to be a bug about those magic-graphics -> may have looked like it was me casting?

Thank goodness I started saving my logs again. On further inspection it seems yes you hit me with a fireball.... but then someone mumbled a mystical formula (Lich no doubt) Damn I thought that was you... I would never have attacked you.... *sighs* Really bad timing.... as soon as you said well I suppose a thing like you doesn't have any rights, I was hit by a purple flame... So then I charged.... well sorry mister Zak. :-/
