Clanbrothers and sisters.. we may be alone, hungry, poor, weak even, but we must not forget who we are. Togethor we are strong, and togethor we, no matter how small our numbers, are a clan. Such things should remain unsaid, but i put this on paper so as to contact you more freely. You must listen to your Clanchief, trust in his judgement, obey his commands, otherwise we will not survive. Raheri, stay close. I do not need to remind you of our codes here, but i demand that you keep to them, no matter how different the natives of this land may be.

My first command, is for you all to lay low, grow strong, get supplies, and build up the camp. I will give you individual tasks in private.. come see me, or Kuchara, who ive appointed as deputy on this isle.

Do not engage in conflict with the natives. We know little of these people, and are weak from our journey. The emperor's wishes are my concern, not yours, and so i order you to let me, and me alone consider them.

Looks with worry around the deserted campsite, her sharp eyes seeing signs that oneor of the mebers was still alive at least. Then the note catches her and with relief she uses a charred stick from the fire to mark her initials at the bottom so Clan Chief would know that she had been there and wopuld be there at the arranged time.
