'Stay away from the rail lady. Dont want ye drownin' aye?'
The elfess, her form swathed in a long, hooded cloak, seemed not to notice the gynkesian, pale, delicately formed hands resting on the discoloured wooden rail, drops of water flying up and flecking her white skin. Then, she inclined her head, pulling her hands back into her cloak and turning her soft brown eyes onto the sailor, giving him a slow nod. The sailor, a bald, swarthy Gynkesian with a waxed beard, lifted a brow, arms folded across his barrel chest.
'Dont worry. I'll stay below deck in future.' She lifted a hand as if she was a child caught in the act of some mischief, her brown eyes glittering. She lowered her hand, slipping it beneath her cloak, away from the gnawing cold, biting her bottom lip gently as she watched the sailor. The sailor reddenned a touch, before offering a toothy grin and turning to return to his tasks. The elfess' keen eyes watched him go, before she moved swiftly down below deck, her barefeet noiseless against the floor. She found her cabin, a small room with bunk and desk, before entering, pulling the long cloak from her and letting it drop to the floor.
The elfess was thousands of years old, but as was the nature of her species, it certainly did not show. She stretched herself out on the bunk, dark black hair falling over the sides, before extending a hand to collect her fallen cloak and use it as cover for her bare skin. There was an odd tattoo on her wrist, a single wing inside a five pointed star. Covered, the elfess closed her eyes, a small smile on her red lips. Her eyes then flickered open again, as the sound of a knock filtered into her ears.
'Yes..?' Her voice was light, but confident, sitting up and delicately resting her chin on a hand. The door creaked open, and the Gynkesian Sailor stepped inside, causing the elfess to arch a brow. The sailor grinned.
'Ye wanted updates on our journey aye?'
'I did. Just not while i sleep..' She smiled evenly at the man, twirling the corner of the cloak she used as a bedcover round her finger. The bald Gynkesian shifted, scratching his head with a dirty hand, and shrugging.
'We'll reach Gobaith by tommorer. Cap'n says its clear sailing after that bad bit o' weather yesterday.'
'Oh? Well thats good to know.' She smiled amiably at him from her position on the bunk. 'Anything else?'
'Well..' The sailor's small, black eyes then examined her, moving up and down her form, glinting greedily. He grinned again. The elfess quietly decided that grinning did not help the man's appearance. He pointed a dirty finger at her. 'Your a pretty lass.'
She blinked, feigning confusion. 'I.. am?'
The sailor grunted, stepping a bit closer. 'Thats what i said.' His tone was business-like now, and he patted the scimitar at his waist. 'Strip.'
The elfess smiled crookedly up at him. 'oh?'
'You 'eard. I got urges to satisfy lady. Now take yer clothes off before i do it for ye.' He spat over to the side, his eyes still greedy as he watched her. She sighed, lazily tossing the cloak from her person, and stood up from the bed with surprising speed, causing the man to blink in surprise.
'Fine.' She smirked at him, hands resting on her slim waist. She glanced down at her black cotton shirt. 'unbutton it for me?' She smiled innocently at the sailor, who in return grinned again, moving swiftly forward, hands reaching out to undo the shirt. However, before he could touch the material, the man grunted, falling to his knees in pain. He blinked in confusion, raising his head to look at the elfess who hadnt moved.
'What the..?'
She tilted her head to the side, still smiling, before snapping out a hand and gripping the side of his neck, in an instant kneeling beside him. The man gurgled, not even possessing the willpower to move. She grinned, and moved her lips to his ear, murmuring.
'Problems love?'
The sailor swallowed, and in one movement she twisted his neck to the side. There was an audable crack, and she released him, the lifeless form dropping to the deck. She sighed down at the man, not bothering to move the body yet, and returning to her bed. 'Not even worth keeping.' She smirked to herself, closing her soft brown eyes for the second time.
The next day, a Gynkesian merchant vessel docked in Gobaith harbour.
