I don't know whether it's possible for this to be implemented but here goes.
When a person sees the list of players in the game it appears like so.

+Bror

Now, what if, when a name is clicked, a brief, pre-written story appears, giving a background to the character. Writing such a profile, could be a prerequisite for the accounts system. All players already accepted, could simply write a brief outline.

well you cant know someone name let alone their life story if you havent been intro'd,i still think its a good idea.
being the rp realist you are i thought you would have gone for this idea, or at least make it mandatory for your account acceptance, its not that hard and its interesting, this would also give the mods a reference if your not roleplaying, like you lived your life as an honest farmer then you steal? this would be considered ooc, therefore you could go to jail or something, i think the life story is exelent

Every character already has a "profile thing". When you create your character you are able to enter some information about them.
It would be possible to make these players hot linkable and show the text in this profile. It's actually an interesting idea and really wouldn't be *that* difficult to do (a php script).
Not sure if we want this or not, but it might happen.
