even though he is dead... i was invited to one of the first meeting of the so called "knighthood"... and all the talk was about..."lets go invade a town to see how strong we are.... who can we take down... thats why i left during the middle of the meeting... Knighthood is not about taking down a town or seeing how strong you are.... its about justice protecting the weak not exploiting them and using them.... "kallahorn" is nothing but power hungry people call me me wrong but i know what i heard and seen..

Greetings all, I come to you looking to guidance and perhaps explanations. This land and city is very strange and new to me, you seem to have some form of order but in the streets I dont see it.

I spent my first day within your gates greeted kindly by several folks, and was enjoying my visit... untill night fell.

As I was chatting with another visitor strange creatures surrounded us and he was quick to draw arms and fight back. With no explanation of what these beasts where people didnt defend him but threatened him should he not stop attack them, though he did it only in self defense.

I do not know his fate as I told him to stop and follow me, but he did not. I fled to a nearby building but as quickly as I tried to shut the door the fiercely smelling zombie like creature pushed his way in. I ran again, this time through a field where more and more of these creatures appeared from the air itself while I saw others talking and brewing something. I knew I was still not safe and made my way to another building and ran up the stairs.

Here I thought I was safe but saw I left the door open and a kind lizard women was fighting off a few of these things. I then ran up to the roof only to find some of them did find there way to the second floor. At this point I was as pale as can be and clearly confused and scared. This women came up and tossed me a flower after I explained I had no sword. She danced a bit for me to calm my nerves and with her present I at least felt safe should they find us on the roof.

I survived yes, but please explain what it is I saw and what the town plans to do about it... or should I expect this often?

Those are mummies which cannot be killed at night. In fact, attempting to slay them at night just creates 2 new mummies. Run upstairs somewhere and don't kill them in future. Mummies do not have enough strength and control to follow you up a ladder. This happens barely ever. Just kill them at day.

Oh don't worry it took half my strength to kill a rabbit, so I didnt even try to slay them...

Though it does make me curious as to why mummies are allowed to own the night with no fortifications, cant the guards lure them to a pen or something?

Perhaps I need to just find a safe place to rest at night and keep my exploring to the day, though the thoughts of mummies about doesnt make me want to rest much.

They used to be in a pen, but they got tricky, they can dig underground like moles, they don't need to breathe, so they crawl under the city for hours. Engineers fix their damage on weekly basis. Mummies ruin it, citizens fortify it. It's part of the life cycle by now, sadly. I'm glad I pay my taxes. Oh wait, no I don't.

On this day, the lizard by the name of Skrrarxs was brought to the Guard
in chains upon accusation of robberies. The one that brought the lizard
was not satisfied with the mere warning Skrrarxs had received.

Upon speaking with Skrrarxs and Taliss, being told the crimes the lizard is
guilty for and the ways they were done, a punishment has been given.
The lizard Skrrarxs will be jailed for a simple matter of two dwarven days
within the Troll's Bane jail and then will be held accountable with either
myself, a member of the Guard or the Governor himself in doing labor
work to pay off the fines of which has been stolen.

Should there be any complaints, I ask those that wish to speak to come
directly to me or find my by dove. This punishment is to be considered a
direct warning to the lizard and should any more robberies take place by
his hands upon release, he is to be seized to serve full time.

Today, Lady Irania was attacked by a unknown bandit. I attacked to no avail because he had under his possession a rope. He was seen back in town a few times after the incident, each time ending in a fruitless persuit. I suppose the Town of Trolls Bane and it's citizens should be on the look out for a man that wields a dagger.
