Automated Account Setup

Post by Joseph Whittlemen »

There should be a automatic account setup like most rpgs do u sign up on the website and boom ur acoount is ready i dont know how to do this but you guys should get one here like that because the delay is very long and we could have many more members if this happened

It used to be like that, create a character and you could log in right away however there were a lot of player-killlings and bad role-play, which is why the account system was implemented and role-play has increased while the player killings have dramatically decreased since then...

oh i didnt know that but then player killings should be disabled only be unconscious or at least have more people answering the e-mails because the wait is so long.

oh and people could just amke up anythin for the two questions and they could be accepted and he still player kills but u could also have more game masters in the game

If player killings were disabled, how would you get your revenge on someone? there are somtimes good Roleplay reasons to kill someone, it is only not allowed if you just kill for no reason.

And i think if your replys to the questions aren't 'good' enough, then you wont be accepted. Thats the point in them, to see if you can roleplay before letting you into the game.

yeah well i dont know how good my answers were but i tried my hardest and i wish that there could be many more people who answer the e-mail because the wait kills me because the game sounds interesting and i want to join so bad

If you think this is one of the aims of this game, that you are completly wrong.
Quality instead of Quantity is the desire of the creators.

And like Roke said, a automatic account setup wouldnt filter out the Non-RP-Players, Powergamer and all the other 'disturbing subjects'.

The so called 'Player Killing' is allowed, but you have to come up with a real good reason for a kill.
Mutilpe Killings(Multikill; ResKill) of Characters in a short period of time will be punshied.

Yours,
Loki

I wouldn't like that at all.
I played Dransik for awhile and didn't like it at all because there was way too many people. The town is so crowded you can't tell what anyone is doing or saying.
Here in Illarion it is a small community and it's almost like you know everyone, not just the people in your guild. We may get in arguments once in awhile but we are still one big happy family. :)
So believe me the wait is worth it.

Though it probably wouldn't hurt to have more volunteers to help sort out the emails. It could speed things up a bit.

Stop "watching" the thread.

Go into your profile and disable automatically watch threads you post to.

Then yo won't get an e-mail for everyoen that responds to your thread unless you go into the thread and ask to watch it.

i dont have it set to send an e-mail its just that this topic was just the newest one with posts everytime

alos maybe there could be like a test to prove as the way u play rpgs answer a certian right u get accepted and so forth if u dont answer x many right too bad and u can change the test every so often then it would be automated and al u would do is wait for the results to ur test by mail and it would say ur acoount number or whatever

One of the things we don't allow is people typing "u" for "you". We don't even want it in the forums. Same goes for "ur" for "your"
