merchants and mining

If the merchant wants to mine, then s/he can. For example, If you were a blacksmith, you could either mine and get your materials yourself, or you could ask someone else to sell them to you. Its up to you and how you want to play.

oh so its like a company that makes chaairs lets say doesnt need to cut the wood themseleves they could have someone else do it for them and then make it from the wood they bought is it like this

merchant mining, first of all why would a merchant mine, to sell material?
i dont see the point, are you offering labor for hire or something? i buy material 1g each look for me, i buy about 250 of iron and coal (im usually on Avrillon)hes an elf

i didnt really understand there answers... this may help a little more

you do whatever you want. You want to be a carpenter chop wood to carpent. You want to be a blacksmith, mine. You want to be a tailor, kills pigs and sheep and zombies for leather, wool, and thread. You want to be a fighter, fight monsters, and so on. You can get people to do it for you, not NPC's... actual people. Find someone and say, hey i will pay you X money X things you get me.

and PLEASE dont make a guild for what you want to do.
