Some might think that the rules of Illarion are just a "joke" or something, they mustn't follow.
The fact that I don't announce punishments on this board, doesn't mean, that there are no punishments. The rules are enforced and I write emails to players that break rules almost every day. Many emails are only "warnings", but most of the players that receive a warning don't take it serious, so they are gone a week later because they haven't changed their behaviour.
Punishments may go as far as a complete deletion of all characters + a removal of all future created characters. Some players think that we are not able to detect their future characters, but I don't know about any of this characters that has played again for more than a week.

Also roleplay! We are a private server and we don't want to have non roleplayers here. We have every right to delete them as we wish (although we have done that so far only on rule violations, but that might change).

aha, thats what was mixed up

I think that when you first create a character, this list of rules should be displayed before you play the first time (so people might actually read it).

yea..and you actually would have to scroll it down, or something

bigger chnage for the newbies to actually read something.
