Coal...

Post by wolfsword »

OK, I WAS going to find coal, and I thought I found some. I went to TB's smithy and found out it wasnt XD. I went back to the copper mines, no coal but there was iron & copper. I went to the mines w/ the evil Golems that chased me, nothing. Where do I get coal? :/

@Silverwolf---
Unless you are a dwarf, or have purchased a mining license (500 Ores per month), I wouldn't go to Silverbrand. It is protected and prohibited to outsiders.

Likewise, Varshikar protects and guards it's mine too. They take pride in the secret 'location' of it. You could join that town if you wish, just write a request on their board.

For Humans in TrollsBane, the Coal mine to the north of the Grey Rose is the best place, not to mention all the gems you can get. It's a long walk frought with dangers, but it is the 'free' option.

The other option is to buy coal either from dwarves or Varshikar.

@Pellandria---please don't send new players to places that would get them in trouble IG. It's not helpful information and only serves to confuse them when they are caught.

wolfsword,

or you just go on mining iron and copper, and trade part of it for coal at the Nordmark marketdays.
(nordmark has lots of coal from the northmine, but not much iron and copper)
