Here's the idea: Currently there are only one or two bits of music. What if somehow there was an option for the player to customize what music they heard at what times, and only they heard it. Like a theme for day time, theme for night time, theme for Trolls Bane, a possibility to replace the combat theme... something like that. It wouldn't be like it's being broadcast for everyone to hear. It would just be everyone's personal music, that would be customizable in the options before you load the game. And for some demo music, you could save time and go find some royalty free music. I could somewhat easily hook you up with that.
Is this a good idea? I personally think so, because the game can be too quiet and the music on occasion repetitive.
Suggestion - Option to import music for yourself.

Don`t know how its about eventual registrations, or certificates.
Another point may be the needed format, what one d`you think would be best?
A good idea after all.
Though it might take away some encouragement to develop more sound-content;
((Though i personally care not much about it, because i neither have my sound source activated,
nor would i have the RAM to have the client running while playing external music
->I am already now FAR below the minimum requirements.

Start your media player of choice with a playlist as long as your desired visit to Illarion (or just loop it).
Then launch the game and play, doesn't seem that hard to me, the mediaplayer will run in the background and you'll hear your music.
(If you hear loud music I suggest disableing the in-game sounds and music first because those sounds like chopping wood or mining do not sound pleasant on a high volume level)
