Guild board content.

Is the Guild message board for ooc as well as ic talk or only in character comments? There seems to be a lot of confusion in this regard and if it would be possible for an official statement on this it would be very helpful for all involved. It may be nice if a short official statement was also posted under the Guild board heading to clarify for future generations of illarion players as well. As it is now there is no statement and it can be assumed from this that ooc comments are allowed yet there have been many instances where it has been proclaimed by those not in authority that ooc is not allowed here. An end to this minor debate would save a lot of confusion in the future. Thank you.

The way it used to be was it was out of character but in character things can be discussed, this is as far as I know but I could be wrong. Because of this, it enables guilds to talk about in game things while also allowing them to reccomend changes to the guild's website among other things. Then again, I could be wrong.

Basically you can talk ic or ooc about whatever is related to guild content.
I hadn't remembered anyone lately proclaiming that ooc wasn't allowed on the guild board.

only if the ooc had nothing to do with guilds i del it, but often i close a eye.

I don't read the guild board, so I am not informed about the kind of discussions there. Can they be separated in OOC and IC discussions, so an OOC-Guildboard and an IC-Guildboard make sense?
If this is acceptable and resonable, can Alatar add these boards?

I think most (most, not all) of the ooc on the guild board concerns guild webpages, meetings and such.. Which, could at least in some level, be done via PM's.

When I had time to read the Guild Boards I would find that at least 75% of the posts there were OOC with minimal IC discussion.

Guild boards are NOT IC. They are OOC.

But just because a board is OOC doesn't mean you can't talk IC.

Good, now I know that the Guild boards are OOC and I can talk in both IC and OOC.

Someone made a rude comment to my OOC post once and I got quite mad!

Serpardum since when is the Guild board OCC?
Postings from the past show a other point of view.
If the opinion were changed, then it weren´t told to the users. Actual is it like that; that the Guild board is IC, but OCC is permitted, as long isn´t too much and belongs to the topic. ( for example, thus things as you find my avatar, are wrong in this board because they have nothing to do with "guild´s" )
