Quest: Rilduran and the Puppetmaster (Finale) Feedback

Please give me some feedback, critics are welcome, as long as you elaborate them

THanks to everyone who participated, i personally had a lot of fun. It was quite hard to play 2 chars at the same time, and considering that both were on two different planes, it was hard to entertain both groups equally. Anyhow i loved that all players were fair to each other. Players that get involved quite often in questplots gave those who didn't the chance to get involved more than themselfs. Usually at most quests its like gimme gimme gimme, look at me.

But this time it wasn't, thumbs up to the players, and thumbs up to Kadiya who supported me with all she could, wouldn't have managed it without you.

I liked it, even trougth it was quiete fconfusing at times and some people didn't really seemed totake the quest serious at some parts, but still nice, only sad that our numbers dimished so quieckly and only a few people were left at the end, the huge attack from the puppetmaster...ahh well..i think you almost kileld people with that..doesn't need to be so.."cruel".

Erst einmal ein dickes Dankeschön an Nory und alle die dabei waren! Es war das allererste Quest, an dem ich teilnehmen konnte und ich hatte ne Menge Spass dabei. Es war mehr, als nur drauf hauen und überleben (zumindest für mich ), man musste auch seinen Grips anstrengen und war zur Initiative und Kreativität gefordert. Die Idee mit dieser Astralebene und dem Ritual fand ich klasse... ( fragt sich nur, was passiert wär, hätt er uns auch noch bekommen... oder neee... lieber nicht...) Nur das Ende fand ich doch recht traurig, aber wohl passend. *schnief*

Alles in allem: sehr gelungen und ne menge Spass und Spannung bis zum Schluss Dankeschön!!!!

Hrm, I really liked it. I enjoyed how the players really kind of directed the flow of things in this quest though. I enjoyed how things played out and the kind of importance all characters really were in this, that there really wasn't a STAR and everyone revolved around it.

Overall I enjoyed the quest concept very much and the amount of people it took to get the plot started. Borgate telling about the fight outside his tavern was incredible then I gave him a rabbit dish <3. I thought the story line was well put together and directed by the gm. I also agree that everyone sat back and let other people enjoy the quest as well.

As for the criticism, because there were two characters that nory had to switch between there were times where a large group of the quest characters were just standing there doing nothing. Take for instance when Eli go teleported to the ritual site....everyone else was trapped in TB....probably like uh what is going on? Then when we all got to the ritual site was another; Fin, Rilduran, Kadiya and then finally Talirea were taken to the Astral plane while Pell, Oger, Ayla, and myself sat around for a long time. Just wish everyone could have went to the alternate realm. I also felt really bad for Oger...because he got clouded once then nearly got clouded again in an iceflame

Overall well played out with a nice story plot.

Also ein großes Dankeschön fürs erste an Nory und Kadiya. War auch bei mir die erste Quest wo ich richtig dran teilgenommen habe und es war riesen Fun, bis auf das ich mich ja leider in englich nicht so wirklich ausdrücken kann wie ich wollen würde. Denncoh fand ich es gut das es kein schlichtes gemetzel war und man zu denken hatte. Zudem auch kein schlichtes wir laufen mal den anderen nach und machen was die wollen. Es war knifflig. Zudem muss ich Talirea wohl recht geben, interessant zu wissen was gewesen wäre wenn er die elfinnen sich auch noch gekrallt hätte, aber neee besser nid. Zumal es schon erschreckend war zu sehen was er alles wusste..war genial. Das Ende ja war traurig zumal das Quest ja noch bei mir die Beziehung von Pell und Fin unter eine zerreißprobe gesetzt hat.
Eines wa smir eben nur noch aufgefallen ist, weil ich es normal so gewohnt bin. Das man eben mehr Spielleitungs, in dem fall von der Questleitung mehr nun Einweisung erhält, so da sman nicht wegen ner kleinigkeit unbedingt nachfragen muss aber ich denke..kann auch gewöhnungssache sein.

Fazit: Es war eine geniale Quest, herzlichen dank

It was very interesting for me to see, how many turns a single story can take.

My thanks goes to all involved people, who make this quest (with his turns) possible...especially Ilaya, the members of the grey order, and the chars, who are involved in "the end".

It was also a "special experience" to see, how stranded my Char is without magic...thanks to ogerawa by the way for the healing potion

I loved it the part I was in... I wish I could have been there at the end, I think during the one long delay was when I went for dinner not knowing it would continue. The story concept was only confusing because I missed part but others relayed it. On the whole, a wonderful quest!

I didnt get to be involved because the kidnapping part felt kind of forced.
The man who kidnapped Kadiya was surrounded by at least 5 people on the bridge, and did not wait for anyone to emote anything. Just teleported while we were typing before anyone could interfere. It felt pre-arranged and kind of killed the motivation for me to get involved.

Emoting actions has been a topic of many threads, and many fighters got banned for not emoting before attack. But i saw exactly the reason to CTRL-click in that quest. While I was emoting a grapple action, the mage just ported.

Just because some of us offer our help, so the stuff hasn't that much stress and work with it, doesn't make use map-devs or stuff members.

We don't get anything for this, except a "Thank you" and a friendly smile... And you know what? That's quite enough for us!

Just for the record Noradur. People DID emote and attempt to catch you. but disappearing instantly is a bit hard for anyone to do anything about so most of the people there just kinda gave up after you were gone.

2.) would there've been the possibility to make this final showdown quest,if Sindayr hadn't succeed in capturing Kadiya and putting her on the Astral plane?


@nmcguire: No, i wasn't the one who gave her the mapping tool. But since she already had it, i asked her to make a map for me, and she did. She's not able to upload it, so she didn't get any responsibility.
