Greetings,

Anyone who wishes to talk, there will be an open meeting tonight that will hopefully actually occur unlike yesterday, there seemed to be some issues in town with orcs. If there is no formal business then it will mostly just be talking about happenings in town and the isle.

The human who appears as ((33116****)) is going to be held in prison indefinitely upon permission by both governor and judge. He was spotted by many witnesses attacking myself, then going to the tavern with intent to burn it. If he wishes to set up a time to plea with the judge, then he will be permitted to ((PM either of us, I don't know your forum name)).

Brer Beothach is being held temporarily in the prison on the following charges:

-Assault: hitting Fooser on the head with a cane
-Disrupting a Trial: Aiding an orc who crashed a trial with molotovs, threatening numerous lives
-General Disturbance

We will work on getting statements and a decision about this soon.

Brer pleaded guilty to the charges against him, and the Judge has given him fines, which will need to be paid. And may he be warned that further abuses will quickly lead to less comforting punishments.

Bounties have been placed one two individuals who have committed crimes within the town of Trollsbane.

20 silver for the capture of the Orc Karl who looks like 1090****
Alive if possible.

10 silver for the capture of the Orc Rukka who looks like 2880****
Alive.

Payment will be given once the criminals have been placed in the jail.
Anyone may take part in the capture.

Dear Captain Taliss of TrollsBane,

I recieved word that you placed an order of armor with one of the citizens of Goldburg. I cannot support this, and have told him that Goldburg cannot fulfil your order.

What I do not understand is why place an order with us? TrollsBane has a treaty granting the Kingdom of Silverbrand exclusive rights in any purchases of armor and weapons that you need.

With respect to our brothers of Silverbrand, we shall not interfere with this treaty nor undermine their efforts.

It is well-known that your Governor is seeking Armor also from non-silverbrand sources.

Please indicate whether the current Government respects the treaty with Silverbrand. If the treaty is void, then please acknowledge the fact and at least notify the Kingdom of Silverbrand of it. For I am assuming this treaty is still in force.

Silverbrand is the preferred source of armor, but not the exclusive. The treaty also doesn't go for private citizens like Taliss. I haven't gotten any word from them on prices yet when asked.

Greetings people of Troll's Bane,

Due to insurance, the destruction brought upon our town has been cleaned up and should hopefully stay that with success from those who are looking to stop the violence and destruction from the dragons. Secondly, the two small housing flats bought previously under Edward have been completed east of the tavern, and will soon be rentable by citizens needing a place to stay.

Kindly note, that although it is outside the strict jurisdiction of Troll's Bane law, that entering the dragon cave with ill will won't help the current situation, and those guilty of doing so could face indirect punishment. We've already had enough damages and trouble for this, no violence against the dragons or elementals please.

Secondly, Artimer and Elizabeth have rented the northern flat for two months. I apologize Even but they saw me first, and there are two of them, it would be unfair to say it was off limits and they would have to rent the one bed one.

I hope to get keys for the flats soon as well.

Evan Ross is currently renting the flat to the south, and has paid for two dwarven weeks.

Also, a friendly reminder, if you have any dark secretive arcane rituals to do, please don't do it right in front of someone's house, where they can see you through the window. The town policy, although ignored, is still policy, no offensive casting in town. Teleportation and healing is fine. If you feel the need to practice necromancy or summon demons, please do it outside the wall at least, thank you.

Town Meeting

This could possibly be the last meeting with me if a new governor is chosen, I would suggest all those who can, come. It will be ((this Sunday 3PM EST, 2PM CST, etc)). To be discussed is a brief review of what has been accomplished lately, and for anyone who has concerns to bring them up. I would prefer town officials to be here regardless of the turn out. If there is no business to discuss, I will speak privately with them. After the town meeting is over, I also would like to meet with all guards who can show up!

To all those requesting citizenship, the list is currently frozen as is, until the election process is over. This is done out of fairness, otherwise it would be possible for non-citizens or those from other towns to switch during nomination and election time to mess with things, so hopefully you understand. Once the governor is decided, the list should be opened fully again.
