Hello everybody,
Recently, myself and a friend (Golgothan) created a scene nearby the shop. We were going to test the reactions of the Illarion folk. We began to yell abuse (not offensive), just things like 'Give my my silver back' and 'why did you kill my friend *******'. Non of this really happened, it was just a test, but some of the reactions we got, i found very annoying. We had people attacking us, using magic on us (Gurok - thinking he's boss), people telling us to shut up, and others firing arrows at us. Towards the end of the experiment, all the anger had turned to Golgothan, as we made it clear that he was in the wrong - and everyone there began to attack him. Now i do apologise for the inconvenience to everyone, but they had no right to attack him, just because we were having a friendly (fake) fight. What im trying to get at, is it is really annoying how people over-react, and take the law into their hands, without finding out all the information about what is happening, they just attack. Gurok was there, and he was using magic, and it's always Gurok who tries to keep peace by killing others. So what i'm trying to say is, if you see an argument or a fight, stay out unless they ASK for your assistance.
Dimitri (sorry about the bit below sean - i haven't changed it yet)

I totally agree with this...
Not to name any names but recently, a certain orc decided to repeatedly PKill me because I got revenge on his friend who also repeatedly pkilled me.. Also, later on, the same orc began repeatedly pkilling me because his friend said I did something, and he didnt get all the facts....
Also people, just so you know....
Just because you ask someone for their name, doesnt mean they have to give it to you... So -DO NOT- PKill them.

i'm in agreement, although there was one time i jumped into somebody's elses argument because they were yelling and spamming. But usually it's better to leave well enough alone, if you know what i mean. Although i usually ask what's wrong when death threats start flying.

hmmm, well this isn't exactly part of the topic but it has to do with players.
I've played Tibia a bit and some other MMORPG's and i'd like to say that even if you think the town is getting worse(more pk's, less rping, more ooc) then obviously you havn't played other games. If you've been to Tibia recently you'd know what i mean. it can all be sumed up in a few words: People their are RUDE!!! I remember i was helping a newbie and i put an item underneath him so he could pick it up and this lvl 13 guy comes up, steal a thing worth only about 20 gold, and runs off and sells it and starts yelling over his shoulder "HAHA! F*** YOU!", now i don't know why he starts swearing, and you might be saying "Oh, it's just that one guy" but it happened to me three times when i was trying to give the noob something, all different people!!! And there is practically no, RPing in a lot of other online games. Overall, i think Illarion has EASILY by far the nicest, most polite people, plus the most RP. So if you think the town is goign downhill, spend 5 mins in Tibia and you'll be glad you have Illarion. Although i think a lot of it also has to do with the fact the Illarion only usually has about 30 people online, whereas other games, like Tibia, can get a couple of hundred at a time, and it's a lot easier to maintian control over fewer peoples. Anyway, thanks for reading this. This should go in out newspaper or something..."Seth's Column"
