Where is the ham? I'm only finding pork.
I just got back into Illarion and I tried killing a few pigs, hoping for ham. So far, I'm only getting pork. Where is the ham? How do I get it? And what do I do with pork?

I'm actually still running into this, and I feel like an idiot since from what's posted above this should be OBVIOUS, but nothing seems to work for me. I'm standing right in front of the smoke oven, facing it; I have uncooked pork in my hand (I've also tried it with it in my inventory); and I click "use" on the oven. I'm told I need ham for this.
Clicking use on the pork gives me the same message. Clicking "use with" and then using the oven, or vice versa on the order, continues to give me the same message. I've tried every combination and order I can think of and nothin'.
What am I doing wrong? *heaves a sigh*

Which is the case with most products/ingredience, so it is not unusual. And the word "n00b" is not very friendly. The correct word is "newbe(i)", which is derived from "new being".Dien wrote:The pork has to be in your belt when you try to cook it. (Down at the bottom, where your food is when you start the game.)
Yes, I'm (sort of) getting the hang of that particular facet of Illarion now, of the belt business. I pointed it out not for the sake of the people who presumably already know, but for the people who don't-- others who may be finding the interface as non-intuitive as I am.
Since I consider myself a "n00b" as well, it wasn't meant rudely, but rather tongue-in-cheek and self-deprecatingly.
Anything else you want to correct me on?
