Well, one can do such a craftmaster in one sitting
Edit: Pharse can do such a craftmaster in one sitting.

i would like to know, if any given newbie can visit only one teacher, or if he can visit various teachers.
if he gets his startpacket befor, or after he got teached.
therefore, if the teacher has to "take back" any items, the pupil got or produced during teaching?
Why would you do that? If the player decides they DON'T want to be a carpenter, because walking to the forest seems boring, and they don't like what is made and want to become a smith, how do they do that.... your basically forcing them to do who they talk to first, and if they do not know what they are doing, then they themselves will be unhappy due to that slight mistake. Can you go into further detail about what you mean? Thank you.
I clarified some technical issues and now I know it is possible that the newb can change the starter pack on the newbie island. So I see no reason why the newbie shouldn't be able to visit all craftmasters so s/he can form a view on the crafts.
Just wanted to ask how Newbie Island is proceeding.
If you need any help in scripting NPCs/testint the island, I do offer my help if you want.
Yesterday I was logged in for 3 hours and met 5 new players. It is barely possible to help everyone of them.
BTW: What happened to the newbie-task force someone wanted to set up? (I signed in but have never heard of it again)
In face of the increasing number of newbies I think we should start to act!
Farming is my second forename
Please send me what you have done so far, Korm, and I will have a look what I can do.
Still, I would like to know how Newbie Island is proceeding and what happened to the Newbei task force. Perhaps a general meeting in IRC would be useful to clear these issues?
If there were news, I would have updated the thread in the Development Forum.
I am - as more or less the leader of the newbie island project - unfortunately "technically disabled" and can't continue my work. Now I wait for a response of a specific person if there is a chance to solve my problem in the near future or not. If not someone else has to continue my work.
