Black berries?

Why come aren't black berries eatable? (I don't know if sand berries are supposed to be poisonous or something, but if they're not, why aren't they edible too?)

I don't think anyone knows. We have a lot more food your character can eat...sooo... I don't think it's to big a deal.

And I don't think "sandberries" are really 'berries', but flowers that look like berries.
