I scratched my head alot when I found out you need pins for a skull staff...

What's so wrong with it? I think it should need red dye too.
Reasons? The pins are dyed red and they are pinned into the skull's eye sockets to get these eyes --> <--

Well, it makes sense that you'd need pins, 'cause you have to put the staff and the handle together somehow... And I really don't think wood glue is an option. ^_^

Then why, when I try to craft a SKULL STAFF do I get the message "You do not have a required material ready: skull" ?

What kind of person would like to craft a skull staff? And what kind of person would need such a staff? Well, I guess the same person who visits graveyards with a shovel.

am i really the only person, who read everything before beginning to play?
although i still have to visit that graveyard, i knew from the beginning, that one should take a shovel there, to dig up a grave for finding that entrance.
i think, it was in some very old thread of the newbie section...

Um... for one there are hundreds of posts in the newbie section (many redundant) ... and for a second... well, wouldn't this be OOC knowledge anyway?

Well, for the "main" entrance you don't need a shovel, do you? I was told to move the tomb stone a little bit to the side to reveal the entrance.
