i think that wooden chests should rot before they just dissapear without warning, because i was fishing and putting my fish in my chest and i was going to empty it out but before i got the chance it vanished! so maybe the chests could rot so then you know that you know your chest will dissapear. Or maybe chests can just never dissapear, or a different way of showing that it will vanish soon
yea or you could have a way to process wood and get liquids and apply a coating of wood protection so it will last longer. And often people are trading and it dissapears and one thinks that the other person stole it, so this would be a nice idea.
