Halfling diet?!

Post by Estralis Seborian »

Halflings: They like tasty cakes and pies but they detest fish.
Aren't cakes and pies considered rich diet anyway? And fishes, aren't they poor diet for all, not just halflings? I don't get the system, sorry .

I think fish means in this case everything which is made with fish, also the cooked meals.

Not all.

Yep.
Yep. ;) 'fish' means not the item, rather the taste in general. If you find a better way to express this, feel free to edit the wiki.

As I posted in the development progress forum, the transition from "normal" to "high quality" food is more fluently now. I added an 'effectivity' value.

So let's say if a pie has 80% effectivity, for halflings it has 130%.

OK, so I resign myself to not having any clue what food does what and I also have no clue how the diet state of my char is :?.

One character of mine eats free food only and got no message at all of having a bad diet - so I can assume the diet status is normal?

Edit:
wiki wrote:Rich diet

A rich diet consists of foods prepared by advanced methods of cooking and baking, like pies...

A book about the diet effects of all dishes is in work.

hm...probably.

I'll script a NPC who tells the current diet state this evening.

I'll correct the wiki entry.
/corrected. I confused pie with cake...

No. He probably thought: "Oh, five replies and no spam yet? I have to change that!"
