Hello,
I just received my acceptance on 02/08/03. I waited a few days cause I knew it would take time to be activated. After almost a week of getting the newer or older client version, I read around your boards to find the problem. I deleted the files and then downloaded again. Now it's saying my password is wrong and I'm pretty sure I've been typing in the right one. I've tried several times. I'd look around on the boards for the answer to this problem also, but I've already wasted 2 hours figuring out the first one :? Please help.

Uh oh....
I sent an email to character_request@illarion.org and I got a reply already. It was from hotmail.com saying that my hotmail.com was not accepted for that address. What do I do now? :(

Yes, this is a problem experienced by many. It seems that the blablah@illarion.org e-mail addresses do not accept foreign hotmails. I solved this problem by setting up a new e-mail address I use for Illarion related things.

Go to "Community"->"EMail".
Use the form given there to send the email.

Well I sent an email to accounts@illarion.org about my password and I got a reply back with another questionaire on roleplaying. I sent back saying that this was not a new character but a character that had received the acceptance e-mail, which I had explained in my e-mail. I realize that Cosma is backlogged with tons of e-mails, although I didn't know it at the time I sent out the e-mail. I also filled out the form Bror told me told to do at general@illarion.org. That was way over a week ago and still no response from that address. Is Cosma in charge of that address too? I'm sorry for the impatience, it's just that I've been waiting since January to play this game. :(

The adress "general@illarion.org" is not resposible for any request concerning your Characters, so i doubt that you will get an answer.

That you have recived a eMail which contained the Questions about the Roleplaying, shows me one thing:
You failed to state clearly that you wanted that character to be added into your existing account.

Normaly its done like that:
Name of the Account (generaly your MainCharacter), plus the Password.
Name of the new Character, plus its Password.
Also a Sidenote that you want the new Character INTO your allready approved account.

Seems like you ended again in the back of the row, and there is nothing to change that. Sorry about that.

I was told to fill out the form by Bror, the gm of this subject on the board, so I thought that was the lines through which I was to go. I did go into specific detail in my letter to accounts@illarion.com so I did not understand why I sent another application. I told what happened, my character's name, and password. I'm wondering now if my information on the ONLY character that I created, applied for, and was accepted was somehow messed up. Should I send back a copy of my acceptance form with information about this one character I have made or should I just relent and reapply again?

That form that Bror directed you to has a drop down box for the e-mail to send to with all the illarion e-mail addresses. You need to go to that form and select the address to send to, then fill in the e-mail.
