a wee bit of help

would anyone be willing to meet up with me to teach me some useful bits? i only just started the game yesterday and needless to say, i'm a bit lost. i have yet to figure out how to earn money or anything...any help, whether it be learning a craft or otherwise, would be very much appreciated!!!!
