i have compared some of illarions characters with that of sci fi characters here we go
Damien- Lt. Commander Data (st:TNG)
Bror - SPOCK (st: TOS
silentgun - Capt Kirk (st: TOS)
Capt Kirk - the starship computer (all series)
Dyluck - A ferengi (all series)
Peace Keeper - a female klingon ( all series)
Gurok klingon/human halfbred ( all series)

making a topic ment for fn of information into war is no oppinion and IILARION is a medievil FANTASY game, and oh yes did you live in the medievil time NO and might i add, if you did you couldent exist in the first place, unless your a staunted human it is proven that the only itellegent bipedals during medievil days were humans and monkeys. and if you have a problem witht hey ways i fight maybe we can take that up on the battlefield?

Torekin, a commander maybe is more used nowadays but for sure there were commanders in the medievals too. Cause they made COMMANDS. Probably they were called captens or something like that.. I have no idea.

And might I add: "guild leader" is not a medieval word, too, because it doesn't even appear in Star Trek that is even AFTER Medieval times! So Sean will have to call himself "Man with the highest rank in his group of people and command giver"

Commander is not a new name...
example from norway 800-1000 in old norse there was a word: "Komandir"
that was the rank of the leaders of the Hird (the royal bodyguards)
in england they spoke old english/gaelic and i dont know anything from those names
but im sure they had simmilar words...
as for now... a commander is NOT a rank... everyone that is in command is a commander
even if its a seargent or general, both are commanders...
its not a new word...
do germans have a word that is simmilar? i think it decends from german, because it sounds
too strange to come from Ur-Nordic

Yeah I guess I've seen a few commanders used in rpgs set in more advanced medieval times with machinery and things but not his "level 5 red alert status" and "transmissions"
