I realize it may take as long as a day for new players to get confimation of approval, especially for US and Canadian players that may apply at a different time. But if no confimation after that, who should they talk to?

Your only supposed to have one.

If it's Forum Account, I clocked myself at 5.46 seconds.

... there has been no approval since they scrapped the essay AGES ago.

All you need is an email address and their bot auto sends you an activation code.
