Post by Illarion »

I want the old skool mummy graphic from moonsilver for my avatar, I can not put it on though. Why not?

It is my understanding that avatars must be no larger than 80x80 pixels and less than 2k in size.

Perhaps you need to edit and crop the picture to fit?

I think they wanted an explanation...I usually just save my files to paint and fix them from there, but I have not changed my avatar in ages so I am probably wrong. Ask someone who is better at editing pictures then me.

Save the 'picture' as a file, then right-click the picture offline, select 'edit' and windows will import it into a view that allows crops, resizes and save it as a separate picture. 80x80 pixels is the maximum size. Then go back to your 'profile' and upload it into your forum account from your computer. Hopefully it will be under the 2k memory I think is the maximum.

Paint is a good program too, but resizes are more difficult to explain.

@threadstarter:

Yes it is offtopic but I suggest that you rethink your forum-nick.
What you did choose may be interpreted as impersonation of the staff

just my two cents

Graphics which are submitted for use in Illarion become the property of Illarion. Somehow I don't think its against policy to use graphics owned by Illarion on their forums. :wink:
