Ayla, where are you?

Kaila's heart began pounding and eyes widened upon hearing Sebastian's tale of the happenings in Trolls Bane.

The dragon did all this?

Astounded she looks at the burn marks on the workshop and the street then turns back to him watching less then patiently as he places some leather in his depot while nodding to her. But apparently that was not all, he finally looked up from his depot with a very concerned look on his face and blurts out the rest of the story

Aye, and the dragon took Ayla.

Kaila dropped a couple of bottles of mana she was trying to place gently in her depot upon hearing his final words and simply stares at him speechless, finally getting her voice back, she leans toward him looking intently at him.

Did they find her?

He shrugged looking slightly helpless

Not too many know she is gone.

After he left, Kaila started walking and pacing trying to figure out what to do, how to help Ayla. Finally with a very hesitant look on her face, she calls not only one dove, but lots of them. As feathers fly over her head, she tears small pieces of parchment and writes the same message on all of them. Then she ties it to each bird carefully and sends it on it's way.

"Ayla, where are you?"

Waiting was very hard for her as she walked back and forth, even going to Greenbriar once then with a sigh of happiness she looks up and sees one dove fly back to her as her trembling hand reaches for it. She gently takes the parchement off reading the note quickly:

Kaila

To answer your question, I've no clue. I was taken by the dragon to a
place I've never seen before. All that surrounds me is mountains and
water. I have no sense of direction here.

But I do want you to do something. Let Jorokar know that the dragon is, in
fact, astonishingly gentle. I am fine. I even spoke to the creature
through our own language. All he asks, as he keeps me hostage, is to find
those that have slain his family. Do this... And I will be let free.

I ask you... Everyone you can... To find this out for the dragon lest he
wish revenge. If not, if he is unable to find this, he will kill until those that
slew his family are rid of. Please... Please hurry in this.
