Dear Fair People of Trollsbane,

Before I start, I must say congratulations to the fellow candidates who have been nominated, and thank you for nominating me. I hope we will have a very fair election.
In this letter, I will be going over a few things that need to be a bit of changing, to turn the government into more of a democracy, and change the militia forces to be separated. Also, I will have some new construction plans as well.
The first thing I want to go over is the governmental system in Trollsbane. One might think that this is a democracy, but I would say the political structure of Trollsbane is more of a monarch. I hope to change this by the following:

The governmental will be split up in 3 sections: The Head, The Torso, and The Legs

The Head: The Head is the most thoughtful of the three. This compromises of the Governor, the Vice Governor, and Treasurer, along with 2 aides.

Governor: This man is responsible for the laws, the structure of the town, and how to spend the money in building terms. This man can only veto a war, and also request to begin one, although he will need help from the Torso, and the people of Trollsbane.

Vice Governor: This man takes place of the Governor when he is gone on a duty, and helps the Governor choose ideas. Can also request to begin a war, but needs permission from the Head, the Torso, and the people of Trollsbane.

Treasurer: This man is the one who keeps track of all the money, and suggests things that need to be built. He can also veto a request of building from the Governor, but he needs the Torso first.

Aides: Basically an all-around aid to all the men. Do not have much or any power, but can suggest and disagree with the governor’s motions. These are optional in the government of course.

The Torso: The Torso is basically a council of 4 members who can declare of disagree with war. Although, they do need permission from the Governor. These men can also veto unnecessary laws and such.

The Legs: The Legs compromise of the Magistrate, and the Jury ( a 3 – person jury), which everyone is given a fair trial, with a judge and a jury. These men fight all trials, foreign or domestic. There will also be one optional sub jury, in case one is away from the island. By being a judge and jury, you must be always ready for trial, incase of extreme emergency.

GEF: In my 4 years here, however, I have not ever seen Gobaith fully united. So I have a new proposition, the Gobaith Expeditionary Forces, or GEF. This is an alliance that unites the whole, or most of the whole, island together, to fight off any evil that lurks our land. Together, we are more powerful, and although we have mixed cultures and it will be difficult, there will be a lot of sweat going on in this project.

Now, on military terms, I think there should be new placed ranks. The military will now be separated in two groups: The Town Guard, and the Trollsbane Army.

The Trollsbane Army is used as a defencive amd offensive army. These are for men who do not have time for the town guard, but are willing to give their lives up for Trollsbane. In case of city emergency, or war however, all men able to fight over 18 will have to serve 1 dwarfen month in The Trollsbane Army

This Army is volunteer, in case of war or city emergency, in which it will be a drafted army.

The Town Guard is the main fighting force, which are trained to defend Trollsbane at all cost. These men will be of course paid, and will be trained by their superiors. These men will protect Trollsbane from unorganized and organized crime, defencive and offensive war. These men are expected to have at least a decent amount of ability to start at first, but not great.

The ranks and pay for the guards and Army (They have the same ranks) is as follows:

(The pays are for the Town Guard only.)

Private – The lowest of the ranks. This is where the most training goes over, mentally and physically. They get no silver, but have the opportunity to become a Sergeant, and get free training. This will be the most populated rank.

Sergeant – A sergeant brings 3 privates to train, to lead them into battle, and to teach them the principals of good and wrong. They must be with their privates almost always. They have a 10 silver pay, and are trained by Lieutenants. They are a good amount of Sergeants.

Lieutenants – Takes 2 Sergeants under his wing, and trains them the same way a Sergeant trains his privates. Gets 20 silver pay, and are trained by Captains. There are usually 1 or 2 of these, the one who is voted to be the successor of the Captain is the leader of the other.

The Captain - The leader of the guard, and takes 1 or 2 Lieutenants under his wing. 40 silver pay.

Last but not least, the construction plans. At the time, I wish to only have one building constructed: A Military HQ, where there are training rooms, a conference room, classes, and more. This will be used for both the Trollsbane Army, and the Trollsbane Guard.

Your goverment would take every man and woman on Gobaith. To many positions when we are at war with Silverbrand!

The previous parchment was not from me but most likily Grant, you must understand Grant is unliked not to mention an ungly red headed child. It would seem he admires me enough to pretend he is I and I apologize to everyone for the kids sad behavior. One day he may stop looking up to me and sign his own name.

Yes, actually I do, although some of the positions will be chosen by the people. However, I do have some people in mind who have fought and planned in the now nonexistant plan to overthrow Silas's government.
