the crashes
Hi i have a question about the crashes.
I am wondering if they are going to be fixed or can be fixed at all.....the reason i ask is because in one night it has had 3 or 4 little crashes and i have repeted myself each time i get back on it is starting to get annoying.

The repeated crashes were some odd problem when a certain char crashed the server every time he tried to open his bag. This charakter has been disabled until the problem is found.
However, there are some other bugs which cause the server to crash from time to time. Don't worry, our beloved programmers are working on it.

Abot the crashes in general. The server programming team is new, and they have taken over a lot of almost undocumented sourcecode from the last programmer. They try to add new features, but its like if you are trying to change some things in a space station that you don't have any documentation or blueprints for. It will take a while.

These current crashes are occuring as we are trying to work around some database limitations and trying various things.
Since we are trying some pretty radical things at times, sometime they have side effects, so then we change the code for that and those have side effects, etc...
All would be fine if we didn't have to kludge around this stuff, but we can't find out how to fix the actual problem at this point.
I realize it is a major pain in the ... neck.. but please bear with us.
