rule 7 broken?

Post by paul laffing »

In the game, Nilo has killed me at least 3 times for no reason. Today he attacked me because we were outside of town and i set fire on the water because he kept casting the freeze spell on me. He almost killed me. He has yet to say a valid reason for has attacks. If i recall right
7. Player killing

The killing of characters without a valid role play reason is forbidden. As is also Resurection killing (killing multiple time within a very short period of time.). Most people actively hunt player killers (PK), and attack them on sight. Newbies, who are unfamiliar with how the game works, should be treated friendly as long as they are not aggressive.
I also have witnesses. Salathe, fooser, kasume, and i believe Avrillon witnessed todays events, and Salathe and Fooser witnessed Nilo killing me.

Ya, well, just to tell you, paul, i told you not to do something, and you did it. That is why i killed you before. So dont be going and ratting on me and saying i killed you 3 times. I did not kill you three times, but i do believe i killed you two times. I had reasonable reasons of killing you however, and it was because you kept doing something. (( and as for dominkus, i let my friend play for a minute, and he went and killed him. Ugh, the nerve of my friend. Oh well...sorry bout that dominkus))

Nilo, lending your char to your friend to play for a second is against rules too...

If I see anyone attacking my friends for no reason I will get involved. Well you actually trust a friend like that? Petty reasons are no reason to kill. It must be a serious issue or else you have no right to kill someone.

Chill.... 8)

You don't kill someone just for doing something you did not want them to do.

Who do you think you are, SUPREME COMANDER?

Nilo has killed me at least 3 times for no reason
according to this, He says i killed him at least three times. I did not kill him three times. At the most, i killed him twice, and I had a reason.

Nilo, lending your char to your friend to play for a second is against rules too...
Well, if its against the rules, tell Paul laffing that. He had a friend on this afternoon. Not only that, but his friend was talking ooc.
It must be a serious issue or else you have no right to kill someone.
Well, i didnt have a "serious issue", but, i had a reason, and it goes with the rules.
Today he attacked me because we were outside of town and i set fire on the water because he kept casting the freeze spell on me.
Well, Paul, one thing you left out was about you burning the cross. You set fire to the cross, knowing it was against the rules. You casted it in town also, so, even if you didnt know casting on the cross was a rule, you still casted in town. So, dont be getting on to me about not having a good reason.

Neither casting on crosses nor casting in town are forbidden by server rules.
However, casting in town is forbidden by ingame law and if its too excessive it can become spamming, which is forbidden by server rules.

Casting on crosses will most likely make a lot of people mad at you.

I cast once on the cross, and that was it. But Nilo did kill me 3 times. He still has given no explanation for killing me.

Also, is it against the rules to let your friend play while you supervisor them? I see no better way to teach my friends how to play. Because i have supervised my friends playing on my character for just a few minutes, i have gotten two of my friends to sign up already. Also, if i recall correctly, you were talking OOC also, Nilo. Is that a bit of hypocrisy i hear?

It is a roleplay - game!
Therefor your char plays a role in this game.
Giving your char to another person to show him, how the game work is breaking this rule. It has nothing to do with roleplaying.

Casting in town is against town rules, not game rules. I know, I used to do it a lot, till I grew up, a bit.

My dearest Paul Laffing,
I have already given you my sincere apologies anyhow, yet you have not accepted them. The right thing to do is to accept them, and move on. Which, you have not done. Then, you went and created a topic of, well, that really has no point other than to try to get a ban together and kill me? which, would only mean you would be just as bad as the person you are accusing and criticizing.

Don't spam Paul.

Also Nilo
At the most, i killed him twice, and I had a reason.
There is one too much, which is violation of the server rules.
Well, i didnt have a "serious issue", but, i had a reason, and it goes with the rules.
Just as note to everyone, that this doesnt mean that every reason such as 'I don't like the colour of your hat, DIE!' or 'I hate people with blonde hair, DIE!' is acceptable. Attempting to use such bad-excuse-for-pking which will most likely lead into punishment by the GM's.

Whether or not Paul forgives you is irrelevant to the ones in charge. You shall be punished for the rules you broke.

But, you are forgetting one thing my friends. I did not break a rule. You have to have a reason to kill someone. I had a reason. I warned him more than five times at least. Yet, he still persisted.

Still I remind you that killing more than one time IS a violation of the game rules.

You have admitted to letting someone else use your character, and you have been reported for powergaming.
Whether or not you killed for a legitimate reason or multi-killed will soon be determined.

Paul, I'm on your side man.

This player killing for stupid no nonsense reasons is really getting annoying.

Even an evil character would not kill someone for stupid reasons.

Evil characters are always trying to get people to turn to the dark side or get people to bow down and serve them. If they kill everyone there would be noone to be a dictator over.

I am really pissed off at people who are looking at the slightest reason to kill. 'Oh no you casted a ra-sij, you'll die now !' uhh ... no this wont happen, especially not in front of me, if it was a hept-sij where someone can walk through then it is a violation.

The steps to protecting the rules are to give the person a warning the first time he/she does it, then you get mad and maybe do a tiny (and i mean tiny.. example ra-kel) amount of damage or get friends to help you out (strength in numbers dont attack unless attacked at), then if he keeps going then you kill him. DUH! And you need to be punished for multikilling which is inexcuseable.

Dont mess with my friend next time I will come after you!
