So basically, the entire upper structure of the Trolls Bane guard is nothing but foreigner scum, and Siltaris has refused to address this many times before. I guess bringing in people from other towns helps her out because they don't really care about the town, and don't mind beating a few real citizens when they 'need it'. They stay and I have my citizenship revoked, which makes her pure trash. There are plenty of decent people in the guard, but this gets overshadowed because the ones on top don't give a damn. Real guards should start questioning things like this.Current Council

I warned of this many days ago, people dismissed it, but now that Edward has come forward as a real threat to their power structure, the corruption is being exposed all over the place. They can call you a demon loving cultist, but when you tell them theyre wrong, they'll put you away for good. That's what people aren't realizing, greedy criminals don't care about you, or your town, or your well being. Why do you think they descend so quickly on "rebels" but elsewhere people are getting robbed and kidnapped?
The following laws have been broken by either the governor or her guard lizard, it's been documented and witnesses, and even admitted in some cases:
c) Provocation
Everyone who constantly and vigorously importunes, provokes or insults someone else by verbal or physical actions commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law. To unsheathe a weapon and to try to inveigle someone to do illegal actions can be a form of Provocation too.
h) Defamation
Everyone who purposely designs and spreads wrong facts to harm someone else or to have own benefit from doing so commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law.
You'll never hear about either of them facing trial, or answering for their actions, because they can have their way with you and not care, and be completely immune from it.b) Attempted murder and Homicide
Everyone who brings someone in direct danger of life by violence or deceitfulness or who murders someone commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law.
Elections were delayed, no word was given, no answer is forthcoming. Maybe they needed time to prepare? To ensure success would be 100% and nothing less. Samantha tampered with the last election and got rewarded with being magistrate, just like guards and other officials are bribed with the towns money. Theyre using Trolls Bane's money, and putting it in their pockets, and doing what exactly? Dealing with Edward and co. has probably been the most straining thing they've done in months. And if voted out, they lose their authority, they lose the free silvers being given to them. If you had full control of power and money wouldn't you try to defeat all those who threaten?
They have made up charges against one person directly, and have implied it against even more. Most (not all though) of the decent people on the island are either away or moved to different towns, and they know that, and have become even more bold than ever before, you can see for yourself all over. Since they are criminals, the people have three choices, 1) join them in their game of greed 2) sit quietly and 'bribe' the criminals by making them believe you are loyal (voting for the current governor, etc), or 3) Don't put up with it anymore. Option three takes a bit of courage because they WILL come after you. The citizen list gets manipulated, the biggest contender for governor gets jailed and smeared, and his supporters get banned and lose the ability to vote.
Very well done on their part. They have successfully created a system where they can vote in anyone they want, transfer the towns money to themselves, and try to take out anyone who says otherwise.
Crime has taken over, and I'm not just talking petty thieves, I'm talking murderers. You can defame all the people you like, but we all know who the real criminals are, everyone knows now, you've been proving it through actions, and many will not just take it quietly anymore.
