Unable to load Application

hello, im new, and im having a problem connecting...
so i create an account, create a character, so im ready to play.
i click on "Play" then this error apears

"Unable to launch application"
Name: Illarion Client
Publisher: illarion.org
From: http://download.illarion.org/

so i go to download,
and it wont let me online installation... because the same message shows up.
and the only thing it would let me do is download offline setup, and once that was done, i go to start, then all files, finnaly about to start playing the game and.... whaddaya know. its none other than my old nemisis......

i checked the first page or so, and i couldnt find anything that helped, so if anybody knows how i can fix this, i would like to know

I'm having the same problem,.....

.... seems to have happened since my PC updated JAVA version.

in details ...it states

"Unable to load resource: http://download.illarion.org/lib_win/lwjgl.jar"

does this mean anything to anybody?

is there a specific version of java i should be using?

please bear in mind that i am an old git, with little tech pc knowledge...simple answers please!

What Version of Java do you use? It works with the newest one.

I'm running "Version 6 Update 2"

Yes.

Did you start it from the homepage?
Was the client installed once before?

If it was installed before, did you try to delete it from the Java Cache?

( Type in run: "javaws -viewer" to show the Cache Viewer )

I get the same response when i try to start it from the home page and my desktop.

The client always worked before...

I typed "javaws -viewer" and ...

Status : there is a picture of an orange unplugged connector

Should i delete it from the Java Cache? and try reinstalling?

Yep. Delete is from the cache and reinstall it.
