Disappearing items

Greetings!

A strange thing happened to me...I was wondering if someone could explain it to me. I had downloaded the patch and the new client for a couple days, and had been playing with no strange happenings. Not long after though I logged in and my the items I wear on my character had all switches places! My dress was in the box where my cape should be, my pants were on the place where my shoes should be etc. etc. Also I now had 2 bags for some reason. And one of the bags was in a box it should not have been in. Well, that was strange enough but fixable. So I tried to rearrange the items and it worked but the bags would not come off...And I had some items in my original bag, but when I tried to take them out and put them in their proper places and they disappeared! What is going on? I fear that next time there will be a bigger loss...which I do not want.

This happened to me, some how i crammed 2 fireswords and a 4 silver abount of items itot my head slot, it was fixed for me long ago though. I guess it went into my ear.

Hmm I had a huge loss with disappearing items, somehow almost everything in my depot dissapeared. I have no idea how, I just logged in once and it was almost all gone, I don't think it would be someone with my password, because there were still items in there... I e-mailed it as a bug report, but since I saw this post with relating things... I checked to see if they were invisable (by putting something in) and they are gone, not just invisable. I can't pinpoint anything in specific that would have caused this... I was caught in a few of the server crashes, I don't know if that would have effected my depot though. If it is possible could my account possibly be reverted to a few days ago or something?

Three days ago my char also lost all of his belongings, except of a single bag. There seems to be a horrible bug which freezes the server when someone logs out and doesn't save the items of this particular char.

The current server hangs seem to happen when some player (random?) logs out and this hangs the server when the server was saving that character.

Unfortuatenly, this usually means that the player is not totally saved.

Since a few days ago, we currently make a temporary backup of players before they log out, once they are saved, teh temporary backup is deleted.

This shoudl allow us to restore a player that crashes when saving, as long as the server is just not restarted. But hte character restored.

We are still trying to find out what hte issue is with the server hanging when saving players.
