How do I introduce myself propperly?
I think I already introduced myself to some people, but I don't know HOW I actually did it.
Something with "#i" I know...
Please show me an example.

To be exact, if you type #i and then press enter, then anyone who was standing within 2 horizontal/vertical cells of your character, will be able to see your character's name. You should then actually say your name out as part of the roleplay.

So if you want someone to know your name:

1) Stand near them, type #i and press enter.
2) Say your name to them "My name is XXXXX"
