Waiting
Moderator: Gamemasters
well to make you more eager, the game is really really fun, and theres lots of greta things to see, and if you looked at the screenshots, those are nothing like the actual game, the game is better, there cool caves, cool sites, and cool lizards, right now orcs are attacking town, well atleast they did, so everyones up and about, setting up camps waiting for them to come!! People are telling stories and there is a new dwarf axe and thats really big for dwarfs, me fooser and paul are always fighting and playing king of the roof. Ansd yesterday, me, crosis, paul, fooser, croktin, and randelf set on an expidition (not a big one) to see if there was a new graveyard and there wasnt but it was really dangerous because now there are about 6 skeletons constantly roaming around the castle like thing down on the peninsula, and croktin died and we were all worried but he came back and we were all relieved, and then there was a break in the skeletons and i got by and looked around, but then skeletons came and trapped me but crosis, being so powerful came in and saved me but then i fainted (got disconnected) and i died!! and everyone was worried, and the we went back and croktin got himself a pet sheep named sparky, then a bunch of orcs attacked with beholders and there was a big battle!!!
hope this helps

Waiting is hell... "Utopia, sure you're on you way there. We'll send you an e-mail and tell you when you get in."
All joking aside, the game is well worth the wait and it sounds like there have been some great developments since I was last able to play. I'm very excited and anxious to find out if I got in!
Edited: for a goofy typo

Oh man!!!! I FINALLY GOT TO PLAY TO DAY!!! AND I HAVE TO SAY!! ILLARION where have you been all my life!!!
The Game is awesome! The whole greeting thing is very intresting too. Plus there are so many cool people to talk to! No one has been mean to me just cuz im a noob yet! I am a RETIRED runescape player and I say this game makes runescape look like a putt putt games.....lol!!! Oh man! Hey Salathe if I ever run into a lizardman I will sure try to see if its you. Im a human. (
humans rock!
) Though I do have some questions. I know this game isnt all about skills and stuff....but it would be kinda nice to know how good I am at a skill. My skills are color coded. I dont understand it quite well yet. Also the little thing at the very bottem where you can click on the up and down arrows...I am a bit confused about that. My question is about that is...what is it?
So far I have just been mining and I hope to learn more about how the game works. Once I conquor that. Well then the game will suit me just fine! The game looks awesome and truly is a ROLE PLAYING game. Once I get more into the game I might start posting on the RPG board! Hope to see you guys in the game. Aint to hard to miss me. Im the totally lost guy.

that number thing is the counter, most useful mechanism. Instead of dropping 200 seperate items, drop 200 at one time and pick 200 up at once. So if i were two give you 20 cakes, i would set the counter higher than 20 (just make it 101) then i drop them. Then if yours is higher than 20 then you take them all, if its at 10 then you take 10, but when you sell items it must be exact, it cant be at 100 when you sell 10 items, it will say, you dont have 100 of that item! same thing with buying

Aye, we've had some cool adventures Saleth.
Like the time we met that fire dragon in teh Desert of Fire. He wasnt the most pleasent dragon however, you and I Saleth, we talked him into letting us past.
That is, until Paul desided to freak out again and started poking him with that large stick he found in the Forrest of Terror which he SWORE was his long lost halfling brother, Kemi. Of course, none of us were aware that branch was acually a hibernating Tree larch, I myself was pretty surprised when it sprouted teeth and bit the dragon... Then Paul just HAD to hit him with his flail of flattulence.
I'm surprised we were able to rescue paul after the dragon had ahold of him... Oh yes, that's rigth I rememeber now! he attempted to BBQ Paul but his firebreath ignited all the methane he was secreating and blew us out of his cave rigth into a pit of quicksand.
I'm surprised we all managed to escape with ouir lives, and senses of smell, in tact.

I get the distinct impression that applications are reviewed most intensively on the weekends. I say this only because I submitted a question request last Friday or thereabouts and by Sunday had the questions portion of the application. Sadly, they were in German so I replied requesting and English verison. Much to my delight an English verison arrived within 2 hours of that request.
I finished the questions the same day but submitted much later in the evening. I am assuming now that the acceptance might be delayed because of the "work week." -Unless, of course, this is just an indicator that I am not going to be accepted.

I know... That was pure nonsense. I killed my long lost brother when i "accidently" set him on fire.
And besides:

We were in a desert and then we flew into a cave? Or was the cave in the desert? OR was the desert in the cave? Or was the cave in a dragon in a desert? Too much to think about!Like the time we met that fire dragon in teh Desert of Fire .. he attempted to BBQ Paul but his firebreath ignited all the methane he was secreating and blew us out of his cave rigth into a pit of quicksand.

this has gone on long enough...I see thee took my idea to get purple cloak
If you have to use archaic english, then at least use it right;
Thee - (singular - you) as in "I will meet thee here tomorow."
Thy - (singular - your) as in "give me thy sword."
Thine - (plural - yours) as in "give me thine swords." (- can also be used to accentuate the importance of a thing refered to as thy)
Thou - (singular - you) as in "Thou art a hobbit."
The thee's and thou's in plural become you, as in "I will meet you here.."
Then again, If you use archaic errhm... you and your words (

I.E.
"Give me your sword"
would become:
"Giveth me thy sword"
This is not meant as a flame on you or anyone else in particular, it's just starting to hurt my eyes when people, who have no idea what those words mean, start to use them.
Ideally, read some Shakespeare or Poe, and you should quickly get to grips with it

Lol, accually I knew that Thee wasnt rigth tehre, but I hadnt used it in a while so I felt liek useing it, lol
And I accaully DO know how to use it.. I just useually lack the energy to use it properly. but you should see me when I goto one of those Medieval renactment things.
So I mix it with my normal speak.. which is also normally mixed with arcachic words to begin with...
I suppose teh result will just take a bit of getting used to, however I do understand your point.
Also, thanks for the qucik description of the usage of those words, it's eben a while since I've even used them on a regular basis, let alone when I was clear as to tehir spesific meaning
