Old quest
Does any of the players still remember a quest we had quite a while back. What happened at the begining was there was this big storm, and it uncovered some marble stuff in the Varshikary desert. What i want to know via pm is was this quest ever finsihed? by this i mean did we ever find out what the marble stuff was for. thanks to anyone who knows. note this will not be used in any way for ig knowledge.

One of the reasons you don't see quests anymore.Gildon wrote:I was there, it was as shitty as usual, it all centered around one character, and everyone was kissing his ass, following him in a zig-zag line across the desert.
I love to know that the quests created by people for your entertainment are just, 'shitty.'
Uhm yeah... Saying the truth has gotten me in trouble once too many, hm?
EDIT: For MY entertainment? I tagged along because I thought this would be an interesting quest, not a half-assed "follow the mage" quest.

Hey, TV producers and writers don't whine when they get low ratings. Well, they do, but lots of people don't listen.Lance Thunnigan wrote:One of the reasons you don't see quests anymore.Gildon wrote:I was there, it was as shitty as usual, it all centered around one character, and everyone was kissing his ass, following him in a zig-zag line across the desert.

I don't have the details anymore. Keep in mind that the original quest took place in spring 2005 and my memory isn't the best...
In a nutshell, the character Djironnyma (who's PO created the basic idea of the quest) and his friends started a search for an artifact called the astral eye. This artifact possessed the power to see what is, what was and what will be. An evil demon called Graor got news of this and started a search of his own. Together with his minion Ankhar, he gathered informations in disguise. When the heroes found out that a demon searches for the astral eye as well, they followed one trace to the artifacts immediatly. What they found was a long abondoned Irmorom temple and all they got was a lousy T-shirt, erm, book. In this book, it was described how to forge a fire axe, one needed pure elements (fire+earth) for this. So the heroes ventured to the planes of fire and earth and aquired those pure elements. The dwarves of silverbrand forged the axe and one of those ladies in Varshikar (was it Quinasa?) pwned the demon with it. Finally, the entrance to the cave where the astral eye was hidden was found and... the final scene was never played due to the charwipe that took place out of sudden.
