Question about new client

I have the old client.

Do I need to remove it from my computer and download the new
client version 24?

Or will the new one overwrite the old one?

It will overwrite the old one. But make sure that you copy ALL the files. Also note that it creates a subdirectory inside the directory you select, so be careful on that.
