A note on the wellpost

I'm a lizard in need of a certain person. I'd like to find a master of the arcane to teach me in the arts. If you know, or are someone like this, send me a message bird. Just not seagulls... they annoy me to no end.

* A relatively tall thin human walks by the well dressed in novice mage robes sees the message posted upon it. He reads it then removes a piece of parchment from his bag and writes a response posting it under the orginal message

I regretfully inform you that I have meet hundreds of newcomers such as yourself ask the same general question. Since I have been here not one and I mean not one has stayed around consistantly. The path of a mage, warlock, or magician can only be started once you have found a teacher. Currently every teacher has their apprentices and students are not being accepted until the next application period which could be months or a year away. I am sorry but if you are patient, yet maintain your eagerness perhaps one day you will possess the ability to control the mana around, but not until you have a teacher can this dream ever be obtained. If you have any questions feel free to whisper my name to a dove or search around Trolls Bane I am willing.

I'll be here for as long as I can, and perhaps longer. I won't abandon this land yet. I'm willing to wait for as long as it takes. Congratulations on being apprenticed.
