Character Wipe

Post by Wyrda »

Post your opinions. Personally i think we don't have that much to lose anyway, we lost most of our items and money. It is fun to have a new start anyway.

I liked my char, but thanks to the new crafting system he isn't usable for anything, anymore, since he's a dwarf and well. Yeah Nitram you're right. It makes much sence that dwarves have an automatic advantage in smithing and disadvantage in carpentry...

Solution for everyone:

IF you want a charwipe, delete all your characters, group up with a few players so they'll do the same at the same tyme, and BAM

Everyone's happy :)

No way.

I didn't spend 21 freakin' months playing this game so that when I finally started getting taught magic my char and teacher are wiped.

Also it'll be pgers paradise.

No way, as Nits said... We'd not only be destroying skills, wich matters not so much, but destroying a char who has been built up for so long, hell no.

I would say any of those want a new start..go ahead, why ask for others to do the same? A lot of the chars have a history and experience that they have built over time with their RP..... the game is not all about items and crafting.

This or that way, a char comes to the isle with a range of skills, or born at age of zero.
PG is no problem IMHO, as long you bring on the story...of the past.

Wipe or not.

*just as you mention again..*

If there is need for a character wipe we don't ask the players.

We try to avoid it. But if some really large things are changed it can be that a new wipe would be necessary.

Well, I want a char wipe. But what Nitters want, God wants.
So I guess if he doesn't want it, won't happen.

There is no need for one, stop discussing it.
