I may have done something bad or maybe I just did nothing at all, I have applied to play this game but have not yet recived the final jugement. I have awnsered the role play questions though so I guess I will soon.
Being curious as I am I have downloaded the client and I wanted to look how you create a character. So I did but when I hit create it tried to log in and then of course it says I got kicked off, this is not my problem or question though. But the charcter I tried to create did it become created or not? Cause I used the name I emailed and if that character is now already created I cannot use it if I get accepted or can I just create one with the same name e-mail etc? I am not sure how it works this registration, do I get a username or email to use and a password? Because I said what username I wanted email and password. Just want to know so I do not mess up, or mess up again what it may be.
Hope to be playing with you all soon, this truley looks to be a great game!
Well I read what I could understand, it did not really awnser my question or maybe I was just unclear. I will just wait and see if I get accepted and then see what happens. Thanks anyway.
first you create a character, than when you email for an account you give the name of the character you created and its password, i think you can create the character after you send in its name password, but its best to do it before.
Ah yes that is what I wondered, but I thought perhaps my character did not get really created or maybe it did...Well I used the same password and e-mail so shouldn't matter then I hope. I see you chasing people to be lizzards *laughs* and I am sorry to dissapoint you but I had my heart set on being an elf...
aw cmon lizards are cool, we have thick skin, sharp claws, we can change from cold blooded to warm blooded at will, we have made underwater cities, and we are excellent swimmers

draakon na kurtak is definitely a lizard name, and drakantor is a good lizard name
Draakon Na' Kûrtak would probably fit more as an elf of some darker type...drows come to mind and yes I played BG ...I am no forrest frolicer sprinkeling flowers wherever I go lol...I think it would work fine for an elven name although it could probably fit an orc or lizard or even human if he was of some barbaric tribe.
Please dont play a drow, if you choose Elf than you are an elf. There would be the posibillity to choose drow if a player is allowed to play such a destructive Character.
I will agree, people do not tend to play Drows well. Other people who critisize how Drows are played don't tend to understand Drows either.
I don't think there's any "official" ruling on this, wheather an elf can be a drow or not, but I think that a Drow, or dark elf, is a viable character. Although not a separate race for now.
Ah don't worry about me being some super evil war monger, I was just giving and example as to why and how I think my name would fit an elven character. I know there are no drows but surley elves can have names that do differ as would any race if they come form a slightly different location. People in China tend to have different names than say people in Germany, besides my name was approved and in my application I stated I would be of elven race so I hope my name will not be any problem...
Although I think my name is a problem lol but more of a technical one, if my name is not spelled in the exact same way as I made the character it will not work. ( Draakon Na' Kûrtak ) must be spelled with the space after Na' or else the game will say it has invalid characters or something like that. Now I do not know if it was added correctly or if it has not been added yet, I myself may even have missed that space when I wrote my name in the application. I simply created my character with this name and did not think more of it until later, when I realized the peculiar spelling might be a problem I tried to create a similar named char taking away the space and also using a ´ instead of ' sign. This does not work as a vaild name though...so I cannot play yet and might need some help with this. Separdum I would like to ask if you can help me with this or atleast send me to the right person to help me? My name might need changing slightly to work, I think it has been 4 days now since I was accepted in but maybe that just isn't enough time to get the character added? So any help on what I should do would be great, thank you.

I agree to Serpadrum, many players tend to use drows to make thier elvish character unique, i never realy understand that.
But the point that makes me some kind angry is, mostly these players start to play the friendliest drow i have ever seen. And that stands in a, for my person, in a heavy conflict of what this race should be played.
If someone now feels offended for his playing style, please feel free to agrue with me via the PM's of the boards.
Hmm please don't missunderstand me either, I will not be playing a drow I will be elf as there is no dark elf or drows that can be chosen (if there were I might play as that) I only reffered to the drow as why I have chosen my name. Some here said it sounds more like a lizard or orc name so I wanted to comment why I feel I can use it for an elf. So I think my name could fit an elf just fine even if it sounds a little different it may be because he has a slightly different origin like coming from somewhere far from the other elves or simply another house of elves or like a sub species of darker kind. It was merley an example where my name came from, as I can admit it rings more like a drow name than a regular elf, still if alot of people think it is completley unsuitable for a regular elf I suppose I can change it. So my question is if you think my name could be for an elf or if it is completley out of the question...
Also I ask you again Separdum if you can help me any with what I should do to be able to play, just so you do not miss that I have a problem getting into the game
