Question about thieving

Post by Crocket »

While waiting for my email I've been reading some of the
stuff about occupations, races, etc.
I noticed the thing about hitting someone unconcious and
stealing their goods.
(which I realize is something a thief character would do)

But is this treated the same as PK. Because a brand new
character who has everything stolen could be in for a
really hard time.

that wont happen unless the new character deliberatly put all his items infront of an untrustworthy person. The only way to get robbed is to put your items on the ground then someone takes them, but there will be many people that will help someone that has been robbed

So even if someone knocks you unconcious
they cannot take items off your body?

Don't trust anything it says on that part of the website. Most of the topics and ideas there haven't been put into the game. You can't knock someone unconscious, and even if you could, you can't take items from people unless they are on the ground.

But people can steal from your bag, somehow ... it happened to my (Real Life) brother, he was a halfling and was being stolen from by a dwarf (so he says) and he also said that a message came up telling him the dwarf was doing this.

This is a possibility, which is able in the moment only by GM-Chars, testing a method of stealing gold coins out of the bell.
It will be implemented later.

I got a message a long time ago: You notice that someone puts his hand in your bag...or something like this...

Like Aragon said, this occurance only happens at the hand a GM only.
Unless there's something I don't know about lately

A char tried to steal from me once who was obviously no GM char. Maybe the second char of some GM?

@Adano Eles: That would most likely be the case, I would think.

I should have said, played by a GM, not GM-Char.
