Why do we need that? I think you will be into this game pretty quickly as soon as your account had been accepted. Sorry, but I really don't see any importance in such a "invisible guy just walking around" thing . It also won't show you how illarion works if you can't do anything.

yeah, right, it would. But believe me: Getting the account, ain't such a big thing, if cosma sees that you're right for the game and to download illarion ain't a big effort either. So just wait and you will see how good illarion works on your comp, which i think won't be a problem, and you will get into it like everybody else!

PS: I like your signature, although it is: de la fromage guilde!

Perhaps a tiny demo would be more appropriate .. though I doubt that the creators have enough time on their hands to be able to create this, though I am not sure.

I don't know how many E-mails Cosmaterra recieves per day at the moment, it could take a little while, so be patient.

A demo would be very helpful for newbies I think. For example, when I first started playing illarion I didn't know the controls and most of them are not explained in the tutorial, manual, or the in game F options. A demo could let newbies get the feel of the game and learn the controls which would prevent such ooc talk in illarion like "what are the controls to get an apple from the tree?" etc. etc. Perhaps the demo could be installed with the main game and be played not online, having the player alone in a miniature world. This could also possibly help avoid "test accounts" and the like.

Have you seen the screenshots on the Ilarionpage?
They give a short expression, what it looks like.

@Aragon I have seen the screenshots, but the screenshots though they give a graphical feel of the game they do not let the player get to know the controls...

Invisible Person: That wouldn't happen. Then you could spy.

There's already plans underway to let newbies preview the game by letting them log into a test character on an isolated island with a lot of in-game objects that they can interact with.

I just think that when you are all new it is best to ask yourself through your "new live". It makes it easier for you to get to know other people because you just have to ask (or you might find it out yourself which takes time and isn't really the cleverest thing to do).

You can't test the real life either and if I understood it correctly: reality is what this game (in some ways) is about.
