by the way i dont know german just using a translator:
anyways from what i hear we really need a trade window menu or something of the sort , this has probobly already been addressed but oh well
sowieso von was ich höre, daß wir wirklich ein
Geschäftsfenstermenü benötigen oder etwas der Art, dieses ist
probobly bereits aber OH- Brunnen gewendet worden
first of all there are theives and scammers so on so forth, aka untrustworthy ppl probobly not many of them but its still nice to know that they cant be taken
You can try it of course, but dont expect you characters Life-Span as very long.
A Thief is a valid profession from the rules side, but the players/characters wont like to see one on free feets.
To be honest, I do maybe kind of like to have a trade window, despite that it is "realistic" now. Maybe for now it's not a big problem, but when there's more valuable or rare items, it forces too much trust on the "player". And because it's more difficult to get punished or proven guilt for stealing in illarion, there is less deterrence to stop people from stealing, so I think the risk of trading in illarion and real life is not a good comparason.
Just a few thoughts. I don't feel very strongly for or against a trade window right now.

Package sending, that sounds like you are importing "Tibia" into Illarion.
And Paul, when you go into a shop, you put the money on a counter (spelling?). This is due the technics in Illarion impossible at the moment.
So you simply drop it on the ground. And if you are trading in a crowded area than its realy you fault if you get stolen.
Well that will not prevent people from scamming you if you want to trade with someone who you do not know really well. Still I tend to agree this should be allowed as it is realistic and happens in real life as well, obviously a scammer will gain a bad reputation but in all ways it seems fair. For a secure trade system just make sure not to trust strangers, everyone is your enemy be parnoid scream if you have to and most importantly eat too much sugar....
accually i have never heard nor played this tibia game, only tibia i know is the bone, my point is i just think its too easy to rob i mean seriously and especially in a busy area where lotsa trading going on, you wouldnt even know who the robber is, good point though, go to a place less crowded
