As you pass by the harbor, your attention is quickly claimed by a group of curious passers-by, standing at both sides of the docks, as a large, pompous Salkamaerian ship. After many moments of mooring the boat, as cabin boys strapped the planks for the unforeseen visitors to get off the sail.
"Move aside! Move aside folks!" Shouted Neebar, the book teleports seller, as a squad of bulky builders strolled off their transport, carrying rocks, hammers, and other building tools.
They all headed, followed by the curious onlookers, first to Troll's Bane. Walking right through town, dragging the peculiarity of citizens herein.
Down the north part of the outskirts, the constructors started building, rock after rock, hammers knocking there, saws scrunching here, until the static teleporter was built. So they did around every single town, Greenbriar, to Vashikar, Vanima, until no town was spared.
But the sites weren't completed. Something was missing. And that is when, a tall, grandiloquent man approached, wearing nothing but a vivid crimson mage robe, and a mage staff in his hand. He stood in the very middle of the teleporter, closing his eyes, he muttered an incantation, runes emanating from his drawing fingers, as a lightening bolt struck down the pillars with an everlasting blast of mana.
Closed his eyes, the wizard did, and muttered; "Greenbriar!".
A blinded flash of brightness, and the mage was had faded from view, only to be reported seen in Greenbriar, at the halfling's own static teleporter.
Grinning with joy, Neebar also greeted his newly arrived fellows from the other island, as the mage pocketed, to the much extent of careless Neebar, all our beloved journeys merchant's coins.
"That is how, on this day, the great builders from Salkamar arrived, followed by their overblown magician, sold us the aeonian magic of teleportation, and left, as they arrived."
Said old, rugged Michael to his grandchildren, seated near a fireplace, watching as merchants went through and forth the now, quite old, and corroded pillars of the static teleporters.
A glimpse into the future.
