Golden Cross Issue

I was guiding a ghost to the Cross a while back, and, while ghosted, refused to believe that was the place to go because it wasn't a cross. Thought I might be tricking him into a perma-death or something.

Either the Cross needs to become a cross again (Seriously, why did it change?) or the description needs to turn into Big Rainbow Mace Thing.

I noticed there is a picture of it in the manual on page three, perhaps just labeling the picture (then we can again refer to the manual for those that are new)?

People don't read the manual.

It's kind of unnoticeable. Make it a page on the main site, and people might start.

This was in discussion before. I think that the best idea is to name the thing "Pillar of Ressurection" or something like that

It isn't a pillar, it doesn't have neon lights saying "RESSURECTION" - That's just as confusing.

And they removed the cross because of the lynk to the roman catholic church as far as I know...

As far as i remember there is a button "Manual" at the login screen of the client.

not all "yellow crosses" look like a lighthouse/illuminated mace, or whatever.
for instance the altar in the cellar of the grey rose.

if there should be a renaming, i would suggest either "resurrection shrine"
or "holy place"

allthough i am sure, that older players will allways call it "yellow cross" or "the cross".

For the mappers:

I prefer to give "crosses" in the landscape the stone underground again, so you can see them on the minimap. And it also makes more sense, that such a pillar not just stand on a field of gras.

No wait, I like Hadrian's idea. That shimmering light could always be on top of a resurrection area, including what was the temple's Pillar of Fire and the Grey Roses' Temple.

Not only that, it could be easily descriped.

Walk to the HOLY LIGHT to get resurrected.

Yeaaahh... That's cool.
