Dear citizens of Troll's Bane, dear folks of Gobiath,

Hereby I want to inform you that within the next six days I will nominate both, one candidate for the position of the Magistrate of Troll's Bane and one candidate for the position of the Captain of the Town Guard of Troll's Bane.

The elections will start then immediately and will last for three weeks.

More details about the election will be written down here.

If you want to participate at the elections, please do not hesitate to contact me to ask for citizenship.

Dear William Elderberry,

In understand your concerns and I think they are rooted in a lack of information in my first parchment.

I will nominate one Magistrate and one Captain of the Guard of Troll's Bane. They have to be approved (or rejected) by the Citizens of Troll's Bane by elections to gain their official status.
So, in the end, the Citizens indeed have the opportunity to reject the nominated candidate.

However, since the Governor is the political leader of the Town, there is only the need that Citizens elect the Governor directly.

The Magistrate and the Captain of the Town Guard follow the orders, instructions and decisions done by the Governor. Thus, the trust which was given to the Governor by the Citizens should comprise the trust in the Governor's decision-making ability.

Regarding the fact that in past there hardly were any elections for the Magistrate or the Captain, the current system is a distinct improvement.

I hope I could show that this way of voting is fair, effective and beneficial for everyone.

As Magistrate of Troll's Bane I nominate Lady Samantha Meryadeles.
Since she already has a lot of experiences in doing this job as well as by having the knowledge and intelligence to do so, she seems to be the right person for doing this job in the best way in my opinion.

As Captain of the Town Guard of Troll's Bane I nominate Callith.
His experiences in leading forces, his wisdom as well as his outstanding skills with his sword make him to one of the most appropiate leaders of the Town Guard the Town can think of.

Now I ask you, the Citizens of Troll's Bane to give your vote. Do you want them to take these positions? Do you want them to serve the town? Do you think these are good persons for these jobs? -- It is your choice.

You will be able to give your vote here on the Town Board. Fill out the form ((quote & fill out)) which is offered to you on the next paper beneath this parchment and sign it with your full name.

The list from above is the official list of citizens of Troll's bane form the moment the elections for the New Government started.

There was time for former citizens to reapply for citizenship.
Also there was time for others to gain citizenship.

Some citizens got removed from the citizen list after the latest election due to their own inactivity. There was more than enough time to prepare for the elections of the Governor and the consequences were commonly known.

Since nearly a week now there is a new Town Board of the Town of Troll's Bane. There already have been written down the conditions to become a citizen.

According to the rules written down there, it indeed possible to become a citizen, of course . Either you meet me in personal or you send me a dove, like I already have gained form other people.
For these elections the list of people who are allowed to vote is already closed.

Good to see Callith is up from Vanima just in time for this. There are better choices for each, Evan is the longest standing guard, around through all the government switching and issues. And for Magistrate, anyone who doesn't use magic offensively in town, and can tackle real issues.

Infact I think I shall vote, for it has come to my attention that Callith is also a guard of Tol Vanima. How anyone can do this job is beyond me. And Miss Siltaris, this elf has only just joined the citizenship. Would it not be fair to suggest that you nominate this elf because he is your friend, not on merit. Evan Ross has served the guard more than anyone, my vote is for him. However, I shall still abstain from the magistrate vote.

Watch your tongue, and speak of who you know, do not speak for those that you do not. Callith served as the Vice-commander of the Trollsbane Guard under Pendar Fayed. He also served under Bailey thunnigan and Derek Corydon. One of the bravest fighters and certainly the most brilliant of the lot, That is Callith. He has fought more wars and battles for Trollsbane that you have spent days within it's walls. Be it not for the law created by fooser that none can have dual citizenship. I would still be on that list of citizens. I served in the Guard under Revlen. And I stood and fought beside Callith, Bailey, and Pendar. And to this Very Day, I would give my blade to Any of them, As any Guard should. The Recruits and guards in the so called guard that was created by Stephen and the latter, have failed. They are no longer guards.

As a former Guard, and as a Fighter who has fought to protect the walls of trollsbane long after he has left it's walls. I urge you not to believe in the Guards in place now, for the times have been hectic. To still believe in harmony through cooperation, is what Pendar once believed. To do so, a Guard must be smart, and unforgiving to those who wish to disturb our harmony. This is a Guard. This is what we used to be. Not many around know this anymore. Only four i can think of, Callith, Bailey, Revlen, and I. We are the remnants of an order perhaps long deserted. But I shall still stand and fight for them.

I feel I should make a point of being able to answer questions here seeing as there are many misconceptions running around here.

Firstly, I feel I should comment on the situation of this, I was having a conversation with Lady Meryadeles a month or two back, about how the town would be without a guard captain if Siltaris -whom I had yet to meet- won the election, she offered me a place back in the guard, and I told her the only place I would return to as a guard would be as it's captain, I told her I would have to think about it before actually putting my name in for it.

Then at the tournament I told her that I would take it if the chance was given to me, she discussed it with Siltaris and Siltaris agreed. A few weeks after that, about half way through the elections I had a meeting with Siltaris, this was the first time I had met her. Thankfully we became friends, but her decision had almost been made before we even met.

Secondly, I quit the Tinechor, because Vanima had no need of it, I did this before I even considered the position of guard captain of Trollsbane, so I suggest that you should ask me what I am doing instead of listening to people who don't know what I am doing. If you want to know anything I am happy to answer questions at any time.

Lastly, Evan Ross would not make a suitable guard captain, just because he has recently been promoted, and has been a recruit longer than anyone else before that does not make him suitable, I and my friends have had several experiences with Evan in an official capacity and he has been rude, incompetent, and unwilling to help people he doesn't know. If I had been in command when he was promoted that would never have happened, and I've told him if I do become captain he had better chance his attitude.

Only Citizens of Troll's Bane are allowed to vote during these elections - it was the same with the elections of the Governor.
Now, only those Citizens are allowed to vote who have been citizens in the moment when these elections started - it was the same with the elections of the Governor again.
It is distorting to entitle these elections 'closed one'. There was plenty of time in advance to retain citizenship by voting during the elections of the Governor. There also was time to reapply for citizenship or apply for new citizenship since the new Governor was proclaimed.

If one of the two nominated candidates or both of them are not approved by the citizens' votes, there will be the same time-consuming process which was done with the election of the Governor: Time for nominations, time for advertisings, time for elections - alltogether about 9 weeks more to wait till a final Government can start to work effectively.

I honestly think that this way is pretty senseless. We need a government *now* and not to mention that we need a guards captain most urgently.

We are not getting anywhere with these time-eating elections. It's time for more action and less paper work.

Dear Gods, the mindless zombies are out in full force today, bearing weapons of very horrid information. It wasn't my law or policy, I just continued it. I don't even believe it was me that removed you. The town also continues this policy right up to this day if I am not mistaken. You think you should be a citizen and enjoy all the privelages of such while being in Varshikar, if you want to believe that, fine, but don't blame me for things that have been in place nearly forever (and for a reason).

Lastly, sir Ross has proven loyalty, yet you walk in, are a citizen for less than a week, and insult him. To say you wouldn't return unless you were on top is arrogant to say the least, and it is good that the people have their eyes open to this.

Which government of trolls bane is absolutely happy by isle of gobaith?

The week one is being throwned, the strong is accused of being corrupted...

Regardless who is office, trolls bane is always in trouble. The problem is Trolls Bane is center trade of gobaith, gold supply to all lands.

All of you are greeding, why should those loyal to city get less than those just only care interest of their own? I am not citizen because I do not want to bond any politic but I am always being disgusted that TB live in shadows of others.

TB serves in interest in its citizens but since when she abandon her friends? Which one of you did not get splendid resource from her?
