Take my offer as you will. Am I trying to get people to vote for me? Of course, but I would advise any one to speak to each candidate before voting. And it is great to see ideas and perhaps holes in the other ideas. Perhaps a political debate is in order? I think if Siltaris and/or Fooser would like that, I am happy to participate. Although perhaps a little rushed, there is always time to discuss something as urgent as this, no?

People of Trollsbane,
This entire election is a sham. Soon, Trollsbane will be fully run by the mentally unstable. A simple process (and an urgent one I might add) of a new Governor has been slowed, week after week. Why? So Samantha may do what she wish. So the process can be manipulated to however they wish it to be. And now, if you don't vote you are not a citizen. I would suggest people not vote at all (even for myself), and as they scratch your names off, they will see how far Trollsbane has fallen. Trollsbane, for the entire duration of the recent past, has been attacked from the inside and outside, from the temple, to now tyranny within. I fought as hard as I could during that time, but now if the people remaining want change, they will have to take action themselves, you can no longer take what those above are feeding you. And after stirring the pot a bit more, I will take my leave from writing, and the government of Trollsbane may go back to threatening druids and making out with females as they make it their personal estate rather than a noble town. And may Silas' warning of dark times be heard all across the island.

Dear Fooser,
It is a shame to read such lines written by you, who seemed to be once honorable person to me.
There is absolutely no reason to blame the Magistrate for any manipulation during these elections.
Since the call for people to name themselves as candidates, the whole process of the elections was clear and structured. There may have been some delays in the time planning, but this is due to the latest actions and happenings over the last weeks. Since the Magistrate, the Guard and myself tried to stand for peace and justice in town, other people did not care at all for the town. And in the end, all I can see from these people is some parchment written hastily and pinned on the town board.
I hope you regret your words... if not now, you will regret them in close future for sure.

See, miss Meryadeles? My words are as true and clear as the light of day. People know in their hearts of your tyrany and hunger for power, but many choose to remain silent, fearing your wrath. Why do you think that I come into town only to post these messages?
Step down and preserve your honor. What is left of it...
Regards,
- Simeon Pravus
P.S: I wish to become a citezen of Trolls Bane and I choose to preserve my vote.
Dear Simeon Pravus,
I really wonder what the purpose of your behaviour might be.
If you would care for the town, you would shut up and let the elections go their way.
Since you do not do so, it seems to be your personal feud with her. I hope you will communicate it in private with her in future. This is not the time nor the right place for personal insults.

I couldn't agree more with what has been written here by Siltaris. Although Lady Meryadeles has been somewhat heavy-handed with some criminals, it seems many do not appreciate the difficult job that she has shouldered as a volunteer. Such dedication and selflessness should be praised, and if there is criticism, perhaps it should be presented in a more constructive form? We all make mistakes from time to time. I doubt anyone could do a much better job then what is being done now though.

Mister Pravus, I would appreciate if you won't spread lies and untrue facts about me. I don't claim power, or would I else organize a vote for a new governeur? I don't even candidate for the position of Governeur, and once the new Governeur is voted, he will ask the citizens of this town in a vote if I should continue to serve the town and its citizens as a magistrate, or not.
As you see, I never tried to claim power, I just try to help forming a new and working government for this town and I give all the deciding about governeur and the next magistrate into the hands of the citizens. I said never something else.
So please now stop spreading lies everywhere. You have no proofs for your words, nor any real examples to back them up. All you have is lies, a snake tongue and insulting misstatements.
We don't even know you. After all you can be one of the bandits or one of the temple I and others fought so many times before. After all you can be one of those, using a faked name to bring chaos and mistrust into our town. To make us attack each other and weaken our bond against the criminals. So as long as you don't show yourself in public, showing us all that you are not just a bandit or criminal using a fake name, I can't belief any of your words to be from a honorable and trustworthy man.

Still waters run deep, so fear the one that acts as silent, for that is the one that strikes without warning. Remember... Demons often hide behind the cross.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I would still wish for my name to be written on the town's board. Before the election if it is possible.

I wish not to come into the town, for that I choose not to be one of your victims. Add me or not, it is your choise, I only asked for my right.
And, as you may have noticed, I never asked you to trust me, because I don't trust you either and from what it seems, no one does. You have lost that priviledge a long time ago.
My regards to you,
- Simeon Pravus
Someone catches a quick glance at a tall man, dressed in a long, red robe, with the hood over his head, carrying a beautiful ornate priest staff, pinning this message with a sigh and walking away, looking carefully left and right.

I never threated you nor have I ever claimed that I will hurt you. As long as you are not one of those bandits or criminals, like I mentioned before.
And again you spread lies and write something that is simply not true and for which you have not the slightest proof. You think noone trusts me? You are simply wrong, and it shows how few insight you have, and how few knowledge about the current situation.
Please stop spreading lies, or speaking about things about which you have NO knowledge. You make yourself no friends. Just the criminals and the evil may like you when you write such words. But maybe that is exactly what you wish.
Until now you had to do nothing better then to attack me verbaly. Someone who fights for the law and risks her life against criminals and evil. But I saw not a single word from you directed to the many criminals we got, or any action from you against the evil.
You proof not really to be a priest of Zhambra like you claim to be.

There is no interest for me to prove to you that I am a priest of Zhambra, nor did I asked you to belive me.
And there is absolutly no need for me to bring you proof of the things you already know. But, for your satisfaction, I shall remind you of the time when you struck down a man only because he insulted you. I hope that your memory doesn't begin to play tricks on you now...
I refuze to meet you, for that I am still bound with my life.
Zhambra's blessings.

Dear Simeon Pravus,
Since I have never met you nor saw you from face to face nor will ever see you in close future according to your words, I must state that your words cause serious concern about the intents of your behaviour.
You stated that you do not trust the government of Troll's Bane.
You asked for citizenship, although you obviously do not trust nor have any sympathy for Troll's Bane.
You ask for a right, you do not have, since you are unknown, want to stay unknown, avoid the town's lands and insult and threaten the government.
As captain of the Town Guard of Troll's Bane I request you to explain yourself what you exactly meant by these words. You have three days for doing so. After that time, Troll's bane has to consider you as political threat and threat of the peace in Troll's Bane, if there should be no appropriate explanation.

So anyone who disagrees with the dual monarchy being put in place as we speak, will be labeled a "political threat", and then all of a sudden you make the jump to "threat to the peace in Trolls' Bane"? Those words seem pretty plain to me, submit to them, or you are a threat.
I don't even see anything threatening in his words, it looks like a saying warning people to be alert and aware.
And no, I don't regret my words, nor will I if things continue in the current direction. I sleep well every night with a clear conscience. Look at the town you live in, look at the people leaving, look at the ones who already left long ago. Ask yourself "why?", and may you find enlightenment when searching for the answer(s).

We had many new citizenships in the last days. Also the vote is not over...so why do you think you know who have won?
We had three candidates, is it now my fault that one of them wins? Why? Everyone was free to advertise for him or herself, everyon was free to gather votes...so why is it my fault when someone wins and the other one not? and since when is an elected governeur a monarchy? You do realize that you sound stupid saying that it is tyranny and monarchy because one of three candidates got the most votes from citizen and was voted as their leader from the majority?

Dear Fooser,
I always thought that your signature with a simple 'F' should be something like a unique and distinct symbol.
Now I start to get the feeling that this simplification seems to be rooted not in your sense of arts but in your lack of understanding and your lack of formulating appropriate and adequate messages.
Your aparent one sided and subjective view on things is distressing. Why do i blame you for that? I will explain myself:
- there is no dual monarchy at all in Troll's Bane but a government consisting of two people who care for the town since months. They already made the town safer with the help of the Guard and allies. You, Fooser, did nothing to support these efforts.
- There is not any government being 'put in place', but there are fair and open elections for everyone who is really interested in Troll's Bane and its future. The Governor, who currently is elected, is elected by the citizens and not being 'put in place'. You, Fooser, seemed to be completly absent over the time of elections, not caring for anything, from my point of view. So no wonder when the gonvernor, who will be named in a few days, must seem to be 'put in place' from somewhere over night, from your point of view.
- The loose quotation or phrase written down by Simeon Pravus has to be seen in the context of this discussion. And in this context, this phrase can be interpreted in difderent ways. All i want him to do is to explain himself and the notion he had by writing this. 'Still waters' can be interpreted in the way as he is talking about himself. Regarding this and his other comments, it could be interpreted as a warning for his upcoming actions to go agaisnt the government violently.
Of course, this could be meant in another way, too, for example blaming the government again.
This vagueness in his words is the reason why I ask him to explain himself. Vague phrases help noone in these times.
- maybe one day in future even you will see that the town has become a good place to live. Maybe then, you will notice that your words were incorrect and inappropriate. But a man, as well as a lizard, needs some honor to be able to regret his past doings - time will show, if you have it.

Miss, Siltaris. I think it would be in the best interest of the Citizens of Trolls Bane to vote for someone instead of you. Samantha is a great woman with laws, rules, and at defending the town of Trolls Bane. But at some points it goes to the extreme. I have witnessed numerous accounts of her banning people for absurd lengths of time without a reason or just cause.
Aye, I'll admit that these things are not terrible nor are they as bad as some of things that I have commited in my life. But the thing that Samantha and I share in common is that we are fools. Now, I am stating fact, Samantha has done some very deceitful and cunning things towards my person in the past. Balently lieing to my face and comspiring, causing revolts with no real basis on revolting.
A governor has resigned, should this not make the position that was bestowed upon Samantha invalid? The position of Magistrate is now being ushered as the position of high ruler of the town. It seems from the sightings, recallings, and recordings from gossip of other individuals of this town that Samantha is the strong iron voice. What she says goes and if she does not have her way she attempts to do other things. Such as lieing to citizens of Greenbriar.
I ask you this, Siltaris, citizens of Trolls Bane. Why is Samantha leading this election? Sure, the woman has the crudentials, the brain power, and the literal sence to run them. But, as I said Samantha is like a dragon. Feasting on others, her words are that of fire burning the flesh of all those which are spewed with the vial toxic, her outer shell is that of scales impenitrable to logic thinking. Clearly, it is to have her best friend as a leader of the Town so that she can have what she wants.
This smells like something I attempted to do. Citizens of Trolls Bane, speak your voice. Have your say and run the election yourself. Do not let a false ruler run what is yours to run. Also, it would be wise to vote for Skallib or Fooser, for they are the only ones that have any idea of what they are doing.
Your humble friend,
Grant Rothman

Grant Rothman,
Since the self-proclamation of your own kingdom 'roushan', which never was much more than an idea of a boy, you indeed seem to have grown up a bit. Your words are not any more that direct and insulting as they once have been. Nevertheless, the content is still the same - unreasonable and irrational words with the aim to reach your own aims in some way.
I will not comment on your so-called 'arguments' in detail - since they are hard to find in your conglomerate of admissions and insults. I just want to highlight two things:
First, you do not mention any reasonable argument why people should not elect myself as Governor. Nearly the whole text is about the magistrate, who is officially responsible for organising the elections. But be aware that this is not the right place for something like that! The election is about the Governor, not about the Magistrate - you seem to forget about that.
Second, the magistrate is organising these elections since months! It started with the call for candidates. It continued by the time for advertising. And now, we are in the phase of elections, while half of the tims has elapsed.
Regarding these circumstances, I really wonder why all of you did not write down earlier your thoughts/concerns about the current structures of the intermediate government of Troll's Bane. There was more than enough time to clarify all this in advance.
Now, in this phase of the elections (about two weeks left for voting) it really makes the impression of being a last chance of trying to influence the elections with these causeless, unreasonable and inappropriate parchments.
The time for advertisings is over since a couple of weeks. Now let the citizens of Troll's Bane decide who they want as their Governor. And let them decide on their own!

Lady Siltaris. I do not stock this land, or grace it with my presence often enough to have my own aims. The parchment that I posted was simply to inform the citizens of Trolls Bane that they are making the wrong discision if they vote for you. Not that you are not capable of this position, but that Samantha will use you as her personal doll. Forcing you to do what she wants and desires through words.
Now, I am growing very eager to get back to my mainland and speak again with my father. Before I leave, I offer you a place in my bed. I would be pleased to stay another night.

I could say the same about you when the temple was a real threat (you know, not just 2-3 people trying to remake it, where the town defense nearly snapped), with Stephen, myself, and a few others were in the end, successful. The guard is at one of its weakest points ever, that isn't subjective at all, so you need not lecutre me on supporting those efforts.Siltaris wrote: They already made the town safer with the help of the Guard and allies. Fair and open, in which one person runs it, and can manipulate it as they wish, and no one would ever know.Siltaris wrote: There is not any government being 'put in place', but there are fair and open elections for everyone who is really interested in Troll's Bane and its future. Yes, I apologize for not being able to be around for the six months or so (it feels) that this nonsense has been going on. The problem is actually the opposite, it's an overly long election being self-perpetuated by the government that it's re-electing.Siltaris wrote: You, Fooser, seemed to be completly absent over the time of elections, not caring for anything, from my point of view. So no wonder when the gonvernor, who will be named in a few days, must seem to be 'put in place' from somewhere over night, from your point of view.
Yes, have fun patting yourselves on the back for menial accomplishments while things continue to degenerate on the overall. Heading a town in which the leaders aren't even wanted on some part of its land. Keep up the good work guys.Siltaris wrote: maybe one day in future even you will see that the town has become a good place to live. Maybe then, you will notice that your words were incorrect and inappropriate. But a man, as well as a lizard, needs some honor to be able to regret his past doings - time will show, if you have it.

Please show where I should have manipulate vote. If you can'T give us a single evidence or example where I manipulated anything, then simply shut up. It is not our fault if you are unable to make peoples vote for you. Your words are just words caused by your frustration that the majority doesn't votes for you.
So aslong as you can give no proofs for your words, proofs for me or anyone else manipulating the election and cheating, you should better be quiet. Don't try to make us responsible for you being unable to gather votes for yourself.
By the way, the elections started 75 days ago with the search for candidates who wish to run for the governeur position. so nothing with "6 month".

That is easy. You can have an insight into the vote after the election, and ask those who voted if they really gave their vote for the candidate. Would that satisfy you?
There is no other possibility to manipulate the vote then in its outcome later.
But if you can't find any evidence of a manipulated vote, i await you to write a public apologize.

I find it disturbing how our own magistrate, a ALL powerful mage can't find a alternative to the citizenship inactivity rather than "You MUST like one of three candidates, if not, your right to stay as a citizen will be taken away from you."
This does not show the intelligence of a magistrate, rather a mage.
Why must we vote for a candidate, even if we don't like ANY of their ideas? A vote should be voluntary.
