Because the game was made by people, most of whom speak German. A large number of the community is German. Why shouldn't it be German? If you want to find out what someone is saying use a free translator...

there's no actual reason, it's just 'luck' that there are more german posts in this forum then the others.

There are more and more posts about the language barrier everyday.
I remember some time ago when some guy even proposed that german should be banned form the game...

It just seems to me that tension is rising about language matters.

I don't think German should be banned. I mean, most of the people speak the language for crying out loud! :D

such an intollerance.
I´m german and this is a german game. A reason why I have log on this game. English people and language become more and more mass in these game. It´s ok. Cause most of us can speak english. More or less. (Me less  ).
But its still ok when there are only german topics. Some of them still german cause there are people dont speaking english or not so good like me. And if anything important in these topics it would be translated at latest when you will ask for.
And there are still topics interesting for german only. Like the Meeting in Germany. I dont think that anyone would fly to Germany to meet some people they dont realy know. Camping in an woodhouse.
So i think those topics dont need to translate.

Last, there are many topics only in english wehre I have to use a dictonary or a translator. These topics maybe background storys or other important storys for the game. So you have a chance to understand it.
And I will not go there, write a topic : Why are these Storys all in english. NO! I will reward with this. And I go from word to word to understand. And often its very difficult.

Sorry, that have to been saying.

We are all guests. But discussions about that are useless.
