Connection problem?

I just installed the client yesterday and everything seemed to work fine, but today when I tried to re-open the game, it gave me an error: "WSAECONNREFUSED" and says that either the server's offline, or it's my connection, but either way, the game won't connect.

It can't be my connection because my browsers and other internet progs work just fine, and the Illarion main site says that the server is currently online, so I'm not exactly sure what the problem was.

Just in case you needed the info, I have a Windows 98 OS, and as far as the technicals go, I met all the other requirements...

Please help!

it is the server, so just wait and the server will be up again sooner or later.

Cant connect either, and if the server was down wouldnt the website be also? If i rember right on the last blackout, if thats what this really is, the website was down and we were redirected to Jan Falke's site. My head hurts

Yeah, the server was down for most of Tuesday, but I think that it should be working fine now

What, the server is online now? I get the message WSANO_DATA, then, can't find host IP, then can't connect . . .

On Tuesday I wanted to and visit the Island and it din't work. Yesterday, I was told everything was OK... So Today, I tried again and.... DOSEN'T WORK.
#me thinks this a plot against Dwarfs.

It depends. If you mean by "server" the server hardware, then both will be down. If you mean the server software for the game, then only the game will be down.
