But seriously, Avalyon, griivjak, Dain, everyone are players who nicked a building. Remember that.
I look foreward to kicking their ass with my char soon!

It is now exactly like the last time the temple got closed.
nontemple players Frustrated because of the temples doings. templemembers entering the town every day or two day and cause fighting and dead of others. the other players having no chance to stop the temple members because the return, free from jail, or do anything else.
We have exactly the same situation we once already had. the situation which lead to a closed temple. the temple got a second chance, and they failed again, like the first time. they failed to be positive for the game, since at the end they do nothing else than causing war, frustration and many deads of playerchars.the moment avalyon, grivijak and others came to free dain was the moment the temple again stopped to have any right of existance. and the scene today were the whole temple was lurking around in trollsbane is another proof that it failed and should again be closed. since it became unbearable for the game.

This is ridiculous. The temple members only reached a delay and frustration.
And now you bitch about forced roleplay? It came all out of good RP, a superior number of CHARS(!) was/is willing to destroy or expel the temple. This is only a consequence of the temple chars' RP. There were enough chances for the temple members to surrender and leave Briar. Now you have to bear the consequences.
Nothing else like a robbery in the tavern.

I let most people go when I ctrl click them. I have maybe clouded 10 people with Dain EVER in town. I have been attacked in town far over 10 times. And bandits?...I haven't seen any.Samantha Meryadeles wrote:going into town and playerkilling others
like so many do. we get dozens of bandits who ctrl click your char as soon as you dont give them what you want. we have too many bandits who all are quick at killing others for their items.
and the temple isnt more than peoples going onto killing sprees.,
@grivijak
the temple is a quest. its existance is just satisfied through that quest. you templeplayers just seem to ignore it too often that you are all members of a quest FOR others, and not just for those in the temple

yeah, Dusty just resigned as Mayor and I'll be leaving this game.
I just expected more good RP from people such as Retlak and avalyon, leaders of an evil cult.
How can players ever run a quest if we gotta keep running to GM's? I thought we could all RP this out ourselves. I was wrong.
So what's the point of anything we do on these forums, huh?
What's the point of Illarion.

Absolutely. Find a field somewhere, set boundaries for movement. No teleporting, no running away, no potions. Each side gets every man, woman, and child they can on their side. Then when the word is said, mass PK, and whoever has nothing but ghosts left loses. That's fair isnt it?!?!Avalyon el'Hattarr wrote:I'll join! bring cheep beer!!!!!1111one!!!1Evan Ross wrote:Sounds pretty fun.Fooser wrote:Here's the plan:
Saturday (tomorrow/today for some)
we will all meet at the swamp 11pm GMT same as today, and we will have a PKfest

the temple was a quest. And it's player character members were actors in that quest. That was a long time ago and it seems many people are getting tired of the temple in general. but there is something to be remembered. Member of the temple; you don't have to be part of the temple to play evil characters. joining the temple was the choice of players, and in that choice you make yourself part of temple storyline. what i see as the problem is that our evil characters are dead set on being the temple, and don't want to think outside the box. and our good characters are either tired of dealing with the temple or don't care enough now to want to turn this into good rp, and have gotten to the point of wanting to quickly 'rp' the temple out of existance. Yet no one really wants to comprimise.
as to the quest. i see exactly what is meant when i hear people saying the temple is virtually inaccessible. the place is a fortress. if Avalyon and company had been really mean, they could have just waited at the maze for the line of people. and put all sorts of hurt on them

Good thinking, this is far too realistic, fun, and fair to ever happen in game though.Fooser wrote: Absolutely. Find a field somewhere, set boundaries for movement. Actually don't blame them. I was the only one on the other side of that gate the entire time with a key. It is my poor role play you insult. And ya know what homie? I just don't give a FU**. LEAVE!Juniper Onyx wrote:yeah, Dusty just resigned as Mayor and I'll be leaving this game.

great...
again dain and avalyon come into trollsbane, the second time today, after we just invaded their town with 15 peoples. dain died after he killed first others, but used the blackstone to escape. how wonderfull!
it is so disgusting to play with them these days. it simply makes no fun.
i mean...we beaten them...and they come back once most of us are locked out and start killing the others...thats not right and unfair
